Sydney / Melbourne Patron Meet-Up Discussion

I don't know this man but he kinda looks like me

Hey Patrons,

Hello from down under. This post is only going to be relevant to those of you in certain Australian cities - but don't worry I've recorded a patron show that will be going live in the next day or so (depending on my Sydney hotel upload speeds).

For folks in Sydney and Melbourne I wanted to get your feedback on what day(s) and locations might work best for a meetup. When we keep these to patron-only events we usually get around 10-20 folks per meetup. It's usually a chill evening affair where we find a bar somewhere and hang out / chat and take incredibly handsome selfies.

So, here's the current state of play;

SYDNEY
I'm looking at doing it on either Thursday or Friday evening this week (16th/17th). My hotel is near Chinatown so central Sydney in general seems to work. Any suggestions for days that suit you, and possible good locations (a bar with a big outdoor area usually works) would be appreciated. If nothing obvious pops up I'll find a spot myself around here.

Also if you're at SxSW I'm doing a talk with SkillUp on Friday at 4:30pm - come along!

MELBOURNE
My current plan is to drive down to Melbourne over the weekend (I want to explore the countryside a bit). So Sunday or Monday evening (20th/21st) are likely the best times for me to come hang. I don't have accommodation in Melbourne yet so any location is probably fine. Definitely open to location suggestions here.

What's Next?

So basically tell me which day suits you best and post any loccation suggestions if you have them. Once I've read through those I'll make a call and post times and locations in a new Patron Post. Thanks so much for he help - I'm excited to hang out. I've only been here 24 hours and loving it already.
