Attached is a PDF copy of some writing I did about a decade ago. Looking back it comes off as somewhat corny for me to read but maybe you'll get something out of it. Some of the railroad stories are reminders of pleasant memories to me as its' been long enough for me to forget them.

In other news, we're moving forward with a purchase on some land (making an offer but not sure if it's going to go through) in conjunction with morningstar conservancy, the non-profit that was helping us out. Thornscrub for the time being is going to be a subsidiary of their operation (even with a place on their board) since they're already set up with non-profit status. If we can make this work it'll be really important for the region and it will serve as an important place for people to be able to come visit, though probably not until the late fall or next year. We will have a mortgage, so we will still be doing a ton of fundraising with hopefully equally ridiculous and hilarious videos.
