[Beep, Beep, Beep…]
My eyes flutter open and everything is blurry white. Where am I? There's a heavy weight on my chest making it hard to breathe. I try to lift my head but it's pinned down by something. The little bit of effort is too much and my body slumps back against the pillow, drifting into unconsciousness.
[Beep, Beep, Beep…]
My eyes flutter open again, and...there's an angel standing above me. She's bright and beautiful and I smile stupidly up at her.
"Well," she chuckles, "good morning, Ms. Bai. Someone certainly looks happy."
Ms……Bai? That doesn't sound right, but the angel, a nurse? continues.
"You'll be relieved to hear everything went smoothly. Your body swap procedure was a complete success!"
Body swap procedure? What is…? I look down with eyes clear for the first time and behold the weight I felt before, massive bulges beneath the sheet in front of me. Squeezing my legs together, it feels like I'm wearing some kind of thick padding. Is this…a diaper? More importantly, I can't feel anything between my legs. At least, not what I should be feeling. Finally, I speak.
"Please, what is happening?" I ask, demurely. That isn't right either, is it? Not just the voice. Shouldn't I be more concerned right now? The angel smiles mysteriously and lays a hand on my shoulder.
"Some memory loss is perfectly natural, Ms. Bai. We'll get a doctor in here to explain all the nitty-gritty details soon but, to put it simply, you are the beneficiary of our hospital's first full body transplant. The former Ms. Lillian Bai, now Mr. Andrew Worthington is resting comfortably, but you woke up early." God she's cute, and distracting. I have more questions.
"Why do I feel so...calm? I mean, it's pretty weird being in a different body, especially one so," I pause and look pointedly at my breasts! before continuing, "well endowed. Shouldn't I be freaking out right now?"
"That's all part of the procedure. I can't say I fully understand the technology myself, but you will retain a certain amount of the previous…occupants emotional self-identity and possibly even personality. How much is essentially up to you. You can choose to resist that influence and retain more or all of yourself, or you can encourage the changes and take on more of your new body's original...instincts. Tell me Lilly, are you noticing any strong or unexpected behavioral influences?" She smiles again, though this time I swear it's more of a leer. Why is that so...exciting?
