The next update is being worked on...we ususally try to release an update at the end of the month however we're having some issues with the latest one which is a rewrite of the entire way we handle networking. We are making progress daily at this point, and I hope to have an alpha out this week. The alpha will include the fixes mentioned in the past posts as well.
After that we're going to pivot to simply working on getting the quality up to release status with a goal of making it a 'gold' release by end of month. This means that we'd release a full image as well as an update code that we would feel comfortable in. We'll need help testing it to ensure that we provide a stable base for users. This is one of the toughest updates because we essentially rip out an old networking setup and reinsert the original raspberry pi one. The work is worth it as it'll help in so many ways for our users, both new and power users.
That's all I have for now. I'm sad to have missed a release on the 31st, but we would rather delay the release and release quality than try to hit an end of month date for an alpha release that we know will need more work to get to beta and eventually final.
