Edit: Alright, so it had to be delayed yet again.
While I was rendering out the final layers, there was a problem I hadn't noticed in the test renders, there was serious problems with the hair. The hair would be all jittery and bad, so I went in to fix it, and it was a disaster. I had to redo the entire hair setup so it looks a little different from the initial images. It took a few days of messing with the hair to fix it, and then a good bit for re-renders.
But, I can say this, all rendering is finished, but there's a catch. The reason I wanted this out by that week was that I would be out of town till Thursday starting Sunday. I do have a setup to which I can work on the animation editing, but it's not ideal and I can only work on it so much.
I really apologize for the additional delay but this should be the last one. I appreciate all your patience while I finish this one out! Thank you everyone 🫶
I'll be working on this when I can, and I'll be finalizing it and releasing it at the end of the weekend when I'm back in town!

Finally, I have a full inflation animation coming this week!
Assuming everything goes according to plan, this should be done in the next 4 days!
The release is still a bit up in the air because it could be done sooner or later, but I'm pretty confident on this week as all of the animation is complete, all that's left is some tweaks to some physics and visual stuff, and render.
This is setup to render in chucks rather than one go, so the render is finally beginning tonight, and in total should be about 35-40 hours of rendering throughout the next few days.
Sound and Editing will begin soon with a proxy render tomorrow, and when all the final renders are done, it'll replace the proxy footage and it'll be ready to go!
I do want to preface this, in the event something goes seriously wrong, this might get delayed a bit further.
This was originally supposed to be a short animation, but I got the drive to fully extend it with the tools I've already built for another animation, and this is the result!
This is by far the highest fidelity animation I'll have put out in terms of shading, lighting, and composition.
I hope you all enjoy it, this one has been a fun one to work on, and I'm excited to show it to you all, and finally have a long animation out!
