Oh that is super interesting with Yami and makes a lot of sense thinking about it now. Still super hype, gotta love those Yami moments. I watch the OP when it changes but I'll skip them after so I don't get hit with those visual spoilers.

First welcome to the first of many episodes that the first opening will play during epic moments. Speaking of openings I will warn you that if you are watching them, avoid them moving forward to not be spoiled if you are really against being spoiled As far as the Demon is concerned, all will be answered eventually, what I can say concerning it this episode is that it was more like the presence of the Demon was felt by both Yami and Vetto, but was not actually seen. The visual was more of a thing for us viewers as it were to remind us of the demon itself as well. When it comes to Yami's new spell, you have to remember that the spatial magic user had them trapped in a different dimension, so hence they showed his grimoire glowing showing that he had acquired a new spell to get him out of that situation due to the high emotions and back against the wall. This is why it's able to cut through dimensions, if he wasn't in that situation, he would never have learned such a spell possibly.
