Maaaate!! I completely see that now!! That is so damn smart, Black Clover going full Black Clover with that one. Thanks for pointing out these details by the way, it's like an added experience after I have posted them.

Also if you noticed through out the series, they were giving little hints that Noelle could control her magic at times. Remember, she was able to hit blocks on the escape from the dungeon, she hit Ba Hah in the Mixer episode no problem, and then recently in the beach episode hit Magna no issue dinging him after his loin cloth fell off. There may be a couple more instances, but those are the three that stand out the most in my mind right now. Once again Tabata giving little hints that there was something else behind her issue with her "controlling" her magic. This also is a psychological matter that usually happens, those who have been abused the most and gone through trauma like Noelle has, actually have a great deal of empathy and don't want to see others hurt like they were hurt. Tabata is a master of creating characters with depth I feel. Notice how her first two spells were about protection.
