NEW POLL! "Before He Cheats" vs. "Goodbye Earl"

It is the mid-'00s and some country music women have had it up with some no good men. Whose revenge is more satisfying, "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood or "Goodbye Earl" by the act currently known as The Chicks?

When I was a kid I loved the song Goodbye Earl. One day when the school bully turned her attention on me I stopped her by basically saying abruptly "have you heard this song? Listen to this song!" And i played it for her on my disc man. She immediately loved it and said she was taking my cd home to burn her own copy. I thought for sure I'd never see it again but the next day she returned it and kept telling me how much she loved the song. Despite still being a bully to other kids she was nice to me ever since. I don't have any specific memories about the other song (and I never really liked it) so Goodbye Earl gets my vote.

Listen, I like the Dixie Chicks. And "Before He Cheats" is one of the most memed into oblivion country songs I can think of. But I'm sorry it's the better song here. The reason it was memed into oblivion was because it's really catchy and sounds good. "Goodbye Earl" is a jokey song that sounds good a couple of times and then wears out real fast.
