It would be interesting to hear what you think of the arguably great bits (Gene Kelley & ONJ) against all the sheer ineptness. One shocking aspect out the gate is that half the footage was shot by someone with no concept of cinematography. No zooms, no tracking, just a static wide shot of people dancing or roller skating. During "I'm Alive" they resort to cutting to zoomed in spots on the dancers. It's incredible they decided to finish the film with what they had.
