2023-08-10 03:15:29 +0000 UTCKermit's plot parts regarding running away from being an advert actor, while at the same time starting his journey in a Mississippi swamp is sort of a reference to the story of Jim. Also: it's interesting how when making Kermit's Swamp Years, they did a lot to try to keep the continuity with it being a prequel, but at the same time it has a lot of inconsistency. Rowlf was actually the owner of a pub in the 2016 series. The newest Muppet TV show, Muppet Mayhem, being centered on the Electric Mayhem, is actually pretty good, due to how it's slightly different from the prior stuff.
