I made a tiktok account because on YouTube the maximum size of a short video is 60 seconds, but I didn't know about it and made a larger video. Now this vertical video is displayed as a full-fledged video and it looks very strange, ha-ha. But I decided not to delete it and leave it for those who are comfortable watching on YouTube.

📑[CAS TUNING BASE] CONTROLLED POSITION MOD V2.2

The main code has been updated;
Improved CAS for children and toddlers:

No more automatic position change when choosing CC or its swatches;
The rotation arrows are disabled, but you can rotate your character using the mouse and other available ways;
It works for mac too!

I constantly get a lot of messages that someone is unable to combine my mod and "stand still" mods from other authors. In fact, I do not even know what the problem might be, since I myself have used mods from other authors up to this point... So I decided to make my own version specifically for this mod so that everything works for everyone, ha-ha.

You can still combine the main mod with "stand still" and "close up stand still" mods from other authors if you want. I recommend using my version so that everything works correctly.

You are downloading an archive with 9 folders. You only need to select one file from each folder (there are previews in each folder to make it easier to navigate). If there is only one file in the folder, it means that at the moment there is no longer an option to choose a pose. I will make more options in the future. NO OCCULT FORM CHANGE ANIMATION and CLOSE UP STAND STILL are not required for installation and are installed optionally. From all other folders you MUST select one file.
Put selected files directly in the "mods" folder;
Do not change the name and do not put the file in subfolders.

[05/05/2024] Now "poses for the fingernails section" is placed in a separate file (it turned out that Sims Studio breaks these files when merging with each other and causes an error in the operation of the game sliders);

❓ ANSWERS TO THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS

«Does the mod work with other "stand still" mods?» Yes, it works. You need to put all the files in main folder.
«The mod does not work at all». There is a conflicting mod in your folder. A small list of conflicting mods is listed in the description of the mod. As a rule, all of it is associated with a change in the "randomization" of sims.
«The main part of the mod is working, but I can't see the nails (the camera is somewhere below)». You need to delete the old version of the mod. If you don't have it, then there is a conflicting mod in your folder. A small list of conflicting mods is listed in the description of the mod. Hi, all the stand still files are conflicting with the hand close up file. When both are in the mods folder, the game won't start, but they do work by themselves. I should also add that I tested this with no other mods or cc.

this mod used to work for me, but it's now broken? i tried the other version as well but both versions do this. whenever i click on the full body accessory section, the nail pose will show but the camera will turn the sim to the side and zoom into the sims head instead of the hands. i'm not sure if maybe the mod is broken, or perhaps it's conflicting with another mod i own, i don't know but yeah

any chance of an update with tattoo poses? its really hard to draw lowerbody tattoos when the game zooms into the face also maybe an option for the accessories that are not nails not be zoomed, bc a lot of cc is other stuff in those slots and i have to change categories to look at them if that is possible

all but bracelets work, when on bracelets it zooms to head and i can't zoom it out manually. it worked before the latest sims 4 update.

Heyyy I had the same problem, did u keep the folders in there, like that they're called 1. childeren stand still poses? cause if u did it's probably cause they're numbers in there, delete the numbers and points and it should work!

I believe this was an update from EA to improve the visibility for bracelets and rings. They applied the same camera zoom-in used for nails. So, this isn’t a change in the mod, but rather a result of EA’s update.

hi i dont think youll ever see my post but idk if your mod is broken. every time i put it in my mods folder and boot my game up it always says that there's "game data missing" and when i take this specific mod out of my folder my game is able to boot up.

Oh, of course! Let me explain the issue a bit more. 😊 In the last patch, they added a new section in the tattoos category called Head (it’s the last icon). When I click on the other icons in the tattoos category, the camera doesn’t move. But when I click on the new Head icon, the camera does move and zooms in on the sim’s head, like in an unmodded game. Since this is a newly added section, I assume the mod needs an update to support it. I tested it on a freshly installed game with only the two main Controlled Position mod files in my mods folder and have redownloaded them multiple times, but the issue still happens. I hope this makes sense! 👍🏽 And I am using a MacBook to play the game if that adds any context.

Yes, I agree with others that I would absolutely LOVE a version that only zooms in on hands for fingernails only but doesn't zoom for the other categories because I have CC in those categories that I now cannot see (jackets, belts, shirt accessories) and it's driving me crazy!

This mod honestly saved me today! I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but with the latest update, the CAS zoom in is way too exaggerated. When you zoom in to the maximum, it can even cut off parts of a Sim’s hair, depending on the hairstyle of course. Thank you so much for this! I make Sims in CAS, film and turn them into shorts, and today I almost cried when I saw how ridiculous the zoom in is and realized I couldn't make my content the way I used to. Thank you again for this absolute game-changer! ❤️

That’s true. It’s simply because EA didn’t include separate animations for girls or boys. So, technically, it’s impossible to create separate animations for the game, at least with the programming knowledge I have right now. Maybe I’ll learn more in the future.

Hi! I'm usually a big fan of your work, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm not sure this mod is compatible with the latest version. I started having problems with it last update and now I can't install the mod without the game notifying me that the files are corrupted. I found a workaround for this! When you select the fingernails section to get your sim into the pose, open the cheat console and enter casclockspeed 0. This will freeze your sim in the pose, allowing you to add as many hand accessories as you'd like. You can also zoom in and out freely without the sim moving. When you're done, type casclockspeed 1 into the cheat console to unfreeze the sim and reset them back to normal.

Hi! I'm also experiencing Sims still moving when zoomed out. Close up works great, but they're bopping and flopping all over the place. Hey! Love your mods, and thank you for the recent update! Just wanted to let you know that this mod has stopped my game from opening. It was fine after last week's patch update but since now getting the new DLC it causes an error that says 'no game data found'. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Such a shame as I always use this mod and have no conflicts.

I love this mod, but everytime I go to install, it's saying the path is too long and then shows nothing in the zip folder? I'm confused. i came here to also ask if you could possibly make an alternative hand add-on with old hand positioning... sadly, the previous one is a bit broken now. your mod itself is working fine, but for some reason it breaks sexuality settings. it makes gender and sexuality squeezed in one tab instead of the usual two, and boundaries settings completely disappear. just had to 50/50 to find it and was very confused, what does sexuality have to do with that

Has your game been updated? If so, it means that there is a conflicting mod in your folder. There are a lot of mods being created for Sims and it is impossible to keep track of all of them, so it may be some kind of mod outside the specified list.

Hi! If you want your sims not to move, then you need to set up a "stand still" poses (classic or special). According to your description, I see that you have only installed a "stand still" for face close up, so you have sims moving the rest of the time.

Hi! Thanks for your work, your mods are the best. Sadly, this doesn't work in my game since last update. My sim only stands still in face close up. When I'm in the clothes section, it doesn't stop moving. I updated, downloaded it again, repaired my game, and still doesn't work. I looked if i had a mod causing conflict in my folder but I don't. I just tried with only this mod in my mod folder, and the sim still moves. I don't know what to try anymore... It use to work for me till lovestruck update... this is very pretty but sadly my CAS doesn't open at all after installing this mod and i only use CC and more columns mod without any other script mods... this was the only mod that i installed and launched the game but whether it's from the mirror or trying to start a new game, this mod just lets me in the loading screen until i literally have to restart my pc manually. it's a shame but i guess i'll go back to the other standstill mod.

I had to read the comments to understand what was required and what was really an add-on. It might be easier if you zipped the 3 required packages together and named them as Required or put the word into the title for the ones that are actually required for it to work.

this might be a stupid question but i'm going to ask it anyways for clarification. in the description, it says the mod itself and classic stand still is required. then below that, it say choose only one version. is the one version suppose to be either classic, n1, or n2 or is it suppose to be classic and either n1 or n2 of any version for any gender?

Hi, I am not sure if this is an issue you have received, but I would like to report something I noticed when using this mod with occult children. The special pose for children animates on its own. The arm moves back and forth. I have only seen this on occult children, more specifically vampire and werewolf children (as I mainly play with those two occults, I am unsure if this affects all occult children). The other poses work fine and I don't have any issues with them, just this one regarding occult children. I have tested this with only this mod in my mods folder to check if it isn't another mod but it still happens.

So today I tried again, I took all of them out of the subfolders and I only have the following in my game,( Controlled Position V2.0, Hands Close Up, Classic Stand Still and, one version of each special pose), now if there is anything I am missing please lmk but I'm pretty sure those are the right items to have, It continues not to work and I have none of the conflict cc options.

I think it's something specific related directly to your operating system. Try to redownload the special female pose again, I just updated the file save date, maybe this will help in your case.

Thank you so much for your help, unfortunately, that did not work. I tried putting it in one subfolder deep (didn't work) and then several subfolders deep (also didn't work). Do you think it's something specific to the Female pose in the code? Try to put CLASSIC STAND STILL in any subfolder. So that all other parts of the mod are in the main mods folder, and this file is in a separate folder, which is located in the main mods folder.

Thank you so much for the responses! The files I am using are the most recent ones and are updated, I deleted them and redownloaded them repeatedly to see if they would work but it still does not work. I initially downloaded this mod on 6/6 and have been deleting and removing them from my laptop and re-downloading the files. I just tried it again just now (6/7) and there is no change in my issue. It's a bit hard to figure out where this problem is stemming from as it is all up to date, works for Male sims, is not in any subfolders, I have all the files required, and I am only using one Female sim pose (and the same problem still occurs even without the Male sim pose).

Hi! Much like the others who have commented here, the Special Children/Male Poses work for me but not the Special Female Poses. The female sims will stand in the Classic position but not the installed Special Pose. This happens despite having no CC besides Controlled Position Mod V2.0, Hands Close Up Positions, and the Classic Stand Still files directly in my Mods folder alongside the special poses. I have tested both the female N1/N2 poses one version at a time and both do not work. I wanted to use female pose N2, so I have just that at the moment alongside the Controlled Position Mod V2.0, Hands Close Up Positions, and Classic Stand Still which all work other than the female poses. The male special pose N2 and children special pose N1 work for me. I also tried removing the male/children poses to see if they affected the female pose but that did nothing. I have all of the pre-required files installed and no other mods (in case there are conflicts). I have not changed any of my files' names nor have put them in any subfolders, and I am a Mac player using the most recent versions of both the Sims game and the mods.

"Classic close up stand still in cas" is only no animations on close up face, "classic stand still in cas" is only no animations on full body view. You need to put both files if you need complete motionlessness.

Hi! This mod (and the old version you are using) cannot conflict with sliders, as it does not affect this part of the game code.
