Place for two

I did two versions of shading - my usually soft shade and shade like in the lion king movie.
I'd like to hear what style do your prefer? just write below "1" or "2"

2021-03-07 21:13:02 +0000 UTCI am coming down solidly on #2. Not because I dislike #1, but because in #2 the characters end up being much brighter, which makes them "pop" in the scene more. This might be only because it's a bright scene, and the soft shading might work better for me in a darker scene. I'm surprised I could pay attention at all, though, with Sarafina distracting me so! ^.^

2020-09-26 17:04:55 +0000 UTCI feel like if you blended the simple shadows on her hind end and left the more complex shadows of the rest the whole image would pop more. I really like both though. Also, you might want to downsize Sarabi, male lions are generally 20-30ish% larger than lionesses and Sarabi seems a bit bigger than should be.
