今日の記事では、3回目のHシーンの制作完了と、絵の勉強についてお伝えしたいと思います！！

絵勉強中 / Drawing Practice

私は現在、まだどなたであるかはお伝えできませんが、絵をとても上手に描かれる方から、自分の絵を「アップグレード」する方法を学んでいます。

その方は本来、私がその方の絵柄で作品を作ってほしいと仰ってくださったのですが、

私の作品は「シリーズ」として続いているため、急に絵柄が変わるとプレイヤーの皆さんが混乱されることを懸念し、また自分の絵柄が数年間で固まってしまっていることもあり、

自分の絵柄を「アップグレード」する方向で絵の勉強を進めています。

I am currently learning from someone—whose identity I cannot reveal yet—how to upgrade my artwork.

Originally, that person told me they would prefer if I created my works in their artistic style.

However, since my works are in the form of a “series,” I was concerned that a sudden change in art style would confuse the players, and because my own style has solidified over several years,

I am instead studying in a way that allows me to upgrade my own art style rather than replace it.

実は、その方が私の絵の問題点として教えてくださったのは「目と目の間の空間」でした。

目の位置だけを見ると「目と目の間の空間」はあるのですが、まつげが長いために、二つの目がくっついているように見えてしまっていたのです。

今になって思えば、私は絵を学んだことがなく、ビザンティンのモザイク画で「眉がつながっているようなメイク」が印象に残っていて、

二つの眉毛の代わりに、二つのまつげが触れ合うほどに描いてしまっていたのでした。

In fact, the flaw that person pointed out in my drawings was the “space between the eyes.”

When looking only at the placement of the eyes, there was space between them, but because the eyelashes were drawn too long, it ended up making the eyes appear as though they were stuck together.

Thinking back on it now, I had never formally studied drawing, and I had been deeply impressed by Byzantine mosaic paintings where the makeup makes the eyebrows appear connected.

So instead of making the eyebrows touch, I had drawn the eyelashes so long that they almost connected.

XD ! ! ! !

「目と目の間の空間」がないという指摘を受けたので、これからは「目と目の間の空間」をより意識して描いていこうと思います。

キャラクターの頭の形も、私の絵柄をアップグレードするように変更していくつもりです。

Since I was told that there was “no space between the eyes” in my drawings, I will pay more attention to creating that “space between the eyes” from now on.

I will also adjust the shape of the characters’ heads, in a way that upgrades my current art style.

Before・Afterで、これまで描いてきた絵の頭の形や目を修正しながら練習しました。

I practiced by making “Before and After” adjustments, revising the head shapes and eyes of the drawings I had created so far.

しかし、現在制作中のゲームに関しては……

However, as for the game I am currently developing...

これまで制作を進める中で、多くのゲームCGを自分の従来の画風で描いてきました。

そのCGをすべて新しい画風に変更するのは難しいと思います。

ですので、現在制作中の作品については従来の画風を維持しつつ、これから描くゲームCGには少しずつ新しい画風を取り入れ、過去に描いたCGの中でも不自然なものだけを修正していく予定です。

However, as for the game I’m currently working on…

I have already been developing this game for quite some time,

and I have drawn many of its CGs in my existing art style.

It would be difficult to redraw all of those CGs in a new style.

Therefore, for this current project, I plan to maintain my original style, while gradually applying elements of the new style to future CGs, and only revising older CGs that feel awkward.

まったく絵を学ばないままゲーム制作を始めてしまい、制作しながら絵を勉強する形になってしまって、本当に申し訳ありません ! ! ! ! DX<

3つ目のHシーンも制作しました。まだ1つのHシーンと、1つのバッドエンド、そして描くべきストーリーイベントも多いですが、一生懸命制作していきたいと思います。

I’ve completed the third H-scene. There’s still one more H-scene, one bad ending, and many story events that need to be illustrated, but I’ll keep working hard on them.

ゲームを制作する途中で、絵をアップグレードする方法を学びましたが、これまで描いたCGは私の従来の画風で描かれているため、新しい描き方を調整しながらゲームを制作していきたいと思います。

While developing the game, I learned ways to upgrade my artwork, but since the previously drawn CGs were created in my original style, I will continue making the game while gradually integrating the new drawing techniques.
