Bear Trap Remaster 🧸

"Bear Trap" has always been a high-bar for me. Since its release in 2018, I've had a lot of productions exceed it in certain areas—the sex in "From Behind", the camera in "Dragon Tamer", the audio in "Bad Vibes", and so on. This is all good and well, but I really hated watching my favorite animation lose its luster.

Which brings us to today's release! Without further ado:

Further ado:

Though it depends on how you're counting, there are easily thousands of tweaks to this animation over its ancestor. Every single cut got fixes and improvements. You'll notice a dramatic uplift on the weaker shots, but even the best parts of the original had lots of untapped potential. Here's a really high-level list of what's new:

• New environment details

• More subtle acting and accurate lip syncing

• Better materials for Sarah, Joel, and Mr. Fluffems

• New cameras and light rigs

• More lore and easter eggs

• Booty bouncing 🍑

• Better post-production and 1080p export

• Soundtrack cleanup and tweaks

If I listed everything, it'd go on for miles. It's hard to quantify the number of edits made to Sarah's eyes—where she's looking, how much tension she's holding, the movement of her eyebrows, dilation of her pupils, etc. I almost put a bullet that just said "Eyes".

Obviously it's not perfect, but this is the best "Bear Trap" can get, and I'm damn proud. I'll be using this to cut out some fappable loops in the near future—maybe a solo vignette and a looping BJ. Thank you for all your support, and here's to the next animation!

*Notes on versions: h.264 MP4s should play smoothly on most devices. h.265 (HEVC) video is smaller in filesize and higher in quality, but requires a more powerful device to play smoothly. The WebM version is the smallest in filesize and lowest in quality.
