We knew Mick would not score highly but we need baseline comparisons! Also we decided to start entering the subjects of past mini decodings since we know their content well enough.
First to go in is Konstantin Kisin of Triggernometry. Next up Sam Harris and Jonathan Pageau.

We discussed Gray Zone, the selective application of cognitive empathy, Putin apologetics, etc. As for the Right to Reply episodes, you are entitled to your opinion but it sounds like you aren't reading them right. Chris Williamson being interpersonally charming wasn't surprising and apologising for making fun of his laugh or addressing points about potential radicalising impacts is not ceding the main thrust of our criticisms, which we repeated and elaborated on. Meanwhile, if you think Jamie Wheal ran riot, that's on you. Most people read that episode rather differently. Bob did not get a pass from us on Ukraine in the original Decoding, despite it not being even mentioned in the content we looked at, nor did he get a pass in the 1 hr we spent discussing it with him in the right to reply. Bob being self-deprecating and not engaging in some of the standard guru stuff we document is still true, despite him engaging in whataboutism and apologetics. As far as his cosmic evolution stuff goes, as we mentioned we don't agree with it, think it can invoke teleology but is ultimately cosmic and fairly harmless.

(And most of whom have anti- Ukrainian / imho by definition Pro putin takes interestingly and Gray Zone adjacent- you never decoded Sam) Bob ‘s Ukraine takes - purely in rationalist- Not policy- terms are fascinating. Cognitive bias, cherry picking etc etc are obvious ( to me at least) - you disagree? He has conspiracy thinking- the Deep State rules all- and yet- this week he and Tamler are collaborating- as ‘ a hero of mine’. Your right to reply episodes are awful imho - no pushback and allowing Sensemakers to run riot or love island guys to bullshit. But Bob should have been challenged on bias thinking errors motivated reasoning etc.. but no. Just differences of opinion. Guy is a classic outsider, interesting, chip on shoulder- and pretty wack view on evolution of the universe- but gets a bye from you ( and VBW) despite being complete outlier in normie circles on Russia- because he’s not the dick Sam Harris was- it’s exhausting…

Gets to write Washington Post pieces as a ‘liberal intellectual’ and change narrative for Ukraine ( me- very anti imperialist invaders) worry the Sam Harris - had a nice dinner/ conversation thing working with you. Ironically I think he’s been shown to be your worst guru as he’s got genuine reach with reasonable people with his writing. His cherry picking motivated reasoning is deranged. Massive chip on shoulder and conspiracy thinking around’the blob’ . Take Eric everyday and Eric’s the worst. But Bob is self- deprecating…big test- will you properly revisit a ‘good guy’ who is essentially Russell Brand? Just asking questions.

It would give a nice alternative guru ladder (graph) with much fewer arbitrary numbers (and the data could be gathered at your own pace). I was pursuing this semi-professionally in connection to Markov chains, perhaps we could discuss it?
