Upcoming Special Episode on Guru Community Management

Thanks everyone for signing up! We really appreciate the support, as Matt recently expressed via DM 'it is genuinely validating'.

We are still working out how to manage everything on here but one of our main goals (besides breaking even financially) was to create a space where we could engage with folks interested in the topic and perhaps delve into some broader content.

On that topic, we wanted to give some advance announcement about a special episode that we are currently preparing. It will be a bit different than usual as it features an interview with a long term member of Eric Weinstein's Discord Community. Specifically, the guy Eric referred to cryptically as 'mentally unstable' in his recent audio essay we covered.

The person in question reached out after we released the episode to explain the context and ended up providing a lot of really interesting insight into how Eric has been managing his Discord community. There is some depressingly familiar stuff in there in regards manipulative guru techniques, which we have lightly touched in on other episodes.

In any case, we are going to regard an interview to discuss an 'insider' view of guru community management in a web 2.0 world. We think it will be fine to release on the main feed but have not recorded yet so no idea how things will actually turn out. If it isn't something suitable for the main feed, we will release here anyway!
