This little tidbit explanation is super late: So when they were looking for the 'pork jeotgal', they and all the stall owners were acting confused because the dish simply doesn't exist. Jeotgal is a side dish that's mainly fermented raw seafood. So a raw pork dish wouldn't exist, so that's why they were so confused and like of course no one sells that. So it must be some type of code.
