As a British person, I think Americans are loud in comparison to us but it's only because we are usually so quiet here, but we don't hate you. I rarely see any Americans here as tourists only typically go to London, the only conversation I've ever had irl with one was when I was queuing for food at a cafe and this really loud American woman literally yelled in my face to ask me 'Hey you, What's a jacket potato? And how much is a pound(£) in Dollars' She scared the crap out of me I legitimately thought she was squaring up to fight me about a potato and the conversion rate, I realised that's just how she talked when I could hear her conversation through my whole meal at the other side of the building 🤣
