Angel Hare Update 9.2.24

Happy September, feathery Patrons!

We had a busy August, and are ready for a content-packed September! I'll get right to what you can expect.

We've kept this under wrap as we needed to get a lot of moving parts lined up before confidently announcing it, but it's here now! You can expect small scene teasers for new episodes on here, and early thumbnail previews on Discord as the weeks carry on. You can go back to last years' updates to see what those are like. They'll be spoiler-free, but fun to guess about!

We also had a bigger crew this time around, so once the season is fully done, we'll have a ton of behind-the-scenes content on how this season came together, some of the craft and crew involved, development art, etc, exclusively for you all! Thank you for joining us on this continued wild ride.

- Other BtS: We're working on a convention vlog from our weekend at Spooky Empire and the anniversary stream we had while we were there, as well as a vlog for a live-action short Rachel wrote and directed in NYC last month. Vlogs are a lot of work and just for fun, so they're a bit lower on the list compared to new content but we're excited to see them come together all the same!

- ROT: The next case is written, and once Angel Hare Season 3 is done, it'll have it's time to shine! Prepare to ROT again soon!

- Far Harvest: Tentatively, our hope is that our moody scarecrow short slated for last Fall is going to fit in the schedule for this Fall. We have also had time to consider artistic additions that we're excited about, now that we've had time to sit on it.

- Spooktober Game Jam: We're participating again this year! It's a visual novel jam hosted on the DevTalk discord server and itch.io, and if you've ever wanted to help make a game either through writing, art, music, programming, etc, go to their discord server and find a team to join! The camaraderie of volunteering with others just to create something is infectious, and in the past it's led to our Crowing game, and the Angel Hare Learning Adventure game! It started yesterday, so jump in if you're inclined.

- This year's production value: We've really been able to up the ante thanks to you all. 3D assets on ROT, a director of photography, fabrication, custom music, and more actors than ever on Angel Hare, crazy things happening with Whiskered that we'll be able to share more of once we get our end more organized - it's all been enabled by your support. You have all humbled us with your generosity, and I hope it shows in the content as we really stretch our wings and see what we can do with the resources we've been blessed with.

- Christmas Cards: That time of the year is coming back around! If you don't have your address added to your patreon profile but want to be on the East Patch Christmas Card list, go into your settings and get it added before December! We'll roll a few more reminders out as we get closer, too.
