Would you subscribe to a VIP 0nlyFans for my HD/patreon content instead if I made one? Bonus- please comment which option sounds best and let me know your thoughts or questions 💕
Hey guys, I've been wanting to run this by y'all for awhile about the future of my content/where you can get it and which platforms I use. Just so you know, no decision is being made immediately, I'm just putting out feelers, and would really appreciate your feedback if you have the time to read this.
So you may know that a lot of patreon creators (esp in cosplay/modeling) have left patreon for OF and other platforms for several reasons, like patreon's tighter restrictions on sexy content, less user-friendly UI and options, technical and other site issues. Some of my biggest current gripes are the TERRIBLE messaging system patreon has, how slow the site works, and how there's been technical issues of patron's totally missing the rewards I sent out.
Tbh I don't know how much longer I plan on creating HD professional photoshoots, I DON'T plan on stopping yet, but maybe in future it will be something I either stop or create less of per month. But for now I'm still looking to keep my creating the same or similar: monthly HD photosets plus selfie/self shot sets like I do on OF. (For those who don't know I currently have a free OF with some locked pay-per-view content posts.)
Potentially, I could try making a new VIP subscription OF page and that could be done a few ways:
Option 1) Offer exactly the same content on my VIP OF as my Tier 2 patreon and also make it $35/month, plus members will get small discounts on my self shot OF sets
Option 2) Offer a bit less HD content per month (maybe 2-4 sets?) give slightly larger discounts on self shot OF sets, and have a lower subscription price (maybe $25-30) Could maybe drop free/sub included self shot sets sometimes too??
The OF feed would also get all the bonus pics that are regularly posted to my free OF, and maybe I'd toss in extra posts now and then too!
Unfortunately OF doesn't offer tiered subscriptions, so if they ever add that in future it's something I could explore. At least this way it's more straightforward :) If this has positive feedback I may make one to try it out, and if it's successful enough I may decide to end my time with patreon OR just keep 1 tier for cosplay/fashion/non-lewd content. I will of course keep you updated on any changes that may come.

I don’t anticipate creating an OF profile, but I definitely understand why a lot of people have moved in that direction. So obviously you should do whatever is best for you. I am sure that trying to keep multiple sites updated is a lot of time and effort.

That's a similar problem that happens to me, but on patreon and several other DM issues here too- which is especially stressful when you're the creator and need to respond to patrons' messages and questions and don't want to miss them and have them think they're ignored 🥺

2022-09-30 16:45:41 +0000 UTCthanks for feedback! If I do ever make the VIP OF page, and if I offered my HD content I would try to find a way to offer the downloadable links/versions as well. (such as in posted set's description.) I like that there can be a separation as well but I know a lot of OF users don't like patreon so it was a way maybe they can also get that content without only having Shoptly as another option. Plus I have my own griped with patreon, but I'll continue using it for awhile I'm sure.

OF does take a higher % but it's lower than lots of other places out there that actually allow nudity and ultimately it's still worth it for creators. I think what a lot of people view as high quality content can be subjective, especially in this type of work, but I'm glad you love my content and appreciate the high quality! I still plan on using patreon for awhile and I will update everyone here if that ever changes.

2022-09-30 16:39:43 +0000 UTCi am signed up with Patreon and your free OF. Patreon is a lot easier to download the monthly rewards while OF tries to stop people from downlaoding rewards. OF is also glitchy as sometimes I don't see new DMs unless I manually search the name of the OF artist. For these 2 reasons , I would prefer to stick with Patreon.

2022-09-30 02:02:30 +0000 UTCAs a fellow content creator, I totally respect the desire to condense how many sites you need to keep up with and favour the ones that perform better. I am not very familiar with OF - I follow you and only you at the moment, but I always forget to check it for months since it's browser only. I appreciate your cosplay/fashion/HD boudoir more than the lewd home shoots, but then I am definitely not your target audience, ahaha! If your HD content was only available on OF, I would consider a paid sub there. I TOTALLY understand your frustrations with Patreon. The app is so spazzy and limited, and I often have issues uploading on both desktop and mobile. I don't have experience with mass messages, but I imagine I will hate them too if I start sending them. I have honestly considered moving to another platform as well, but I am just worried about how much of my already modest fanbase would follow. But back to you. If you stopped HD content entirely - cosplay or boudoir - I would be disappointed, but obviously you must do what works best for you! :) The bottom line is that I will support your content no matter what, but currently your Patreon platform and content is my preference.

But tbh, I love your content and would definitely subscribe to your OF, if u switched to that, or whatever platform you switched to

OF doesnt have that option (also OF doesnt allow stuff like google drive links. always has to be posted to the site) plus i rather the separation. HD professional sets on here (love the professional sets, amazing quality) and self shot extra lewd sets on OF

2022-09-29 20:08:07 +0000 UTCFor what its worth, I refuse to support OF. A third of the money is made by the top 1% of OF girls. OF reportedly takes 20%. The platform is intended to be much a more interactive user experience, but in order to accomplish that user experience the models on the platform often engage management companies to respond and communicate for them. Average monthly income for a model on OF is $180. Regarding your HD sets, I find those the most valuable part and would support quality over quantity. I am aware that some may want images more frequently. But when I have considered discontinuing, it has usually been because I felt I was getting too many sets that were of less of quality, and then a high quality set would emerge. If I received only 1 or 2 HD sets a month and nothing else, I would probably stay. I have upgraded from Tier 1 to Tier 2 strictly because the Elven series has such quality lighting, reflections, and use of shadows.
