Announcing Video Q&A's!
Added 2025-07-07 14:36:57 +0000 UTCHey guys, I'm going to start up a new project and as my most direct supporters I want to explain how you guys are going to get some extra benefits from it.
The idea is to gather questions from various parts of my community (Patreon, Discord, etc.) and start to do a AMA-style video that will get posted to my YouTube channel. I've had the channel for awhile, but its mostly just been gathering dust. I figure its time to do something with it!
The process will be pretty simple. I'll make a post here, and ask you to ask any questions you might have for us in the comments of the post. We'll go through, gather the good/interesting/hard-hitting ones up, have Chris come in and set up a camera, and answer them! The video then gets edited and uploaded to the YouTube channel for all to enjoy.
The idea here is to expand the reach of not only my own community, but also expand the discussion that is going on within the wider LitRPG/HaremLit space.
As for how you guys will benefit for being Patrons, there's a two-fold approach there.
1. The first group of questions of every video will be pulled exclusively from Patreon post comments, meaning you guys will always get the first chance to ask the questions that are the most burning in this community.
2. Like many other creators, we will display the names of all patrons on-screen at the end of the video as an additional thank you for your support.
The initial plan is to do this monthly, but as it grows and more questions come in, we may increase the frequency to try and move through those questions more quickly.
The questions can be about anything you want - My own work, the genre as a whole, the process or nature of writing, my story in entering the space, or even a question for Chris.
Our plan for gathering Patreon questions, in particular, will be to look at which comments on the posts have the most likes - so make sure to read the comments and like any that might already be asking the question(s) you have, as these will be prioritized slightly. If there's not enough of those, or if one of the other questions is really really interesting, we'll grab that one up and stick it in the mix as well.
So that's the plan! Let me know what you think, and be on the lookout for the first Q&A Post to come to ask your questions on! If your question isn't answered on the first video, make sure to ask it again once the next post goes up to try again!
Please Note: We reserve the right to answer or not answer any questions we choose. Inappropriate and/or outwardly antagonistic questions will be ignored.
