DD 204 Ch 15

I followed behind the older shaman, with Felin at my side, despite her people's attempts to separate us. Felin seemed to sense that this might not end well, especially if we were separated.

At least, it might not end well for me, that was for certain.

The shaman walked into a large building. The interior was mostly open, with columns breaking up the circular space. There were a few doorways that led off to other rooms, but we didn't seek those out. The shaman sat down at a desk that was put to the side.

"Come here, sit with me." She patted the chair close to her, clearly for Felin, not for me.

"No thank you," Felin said, her tail stood awfully still.

"And why is that? Do you not trust me, as a shaman? I am the leader of this safe zone, and by her grace," the woman made a gesture of reverence, "I lead."

Felin's tail started moving once again, this time, though, it seemed upset. "Yes, well, she is the difficult part," Felin growled out, "because where I grew up, the Nekorians did not worship a goddess."

The older shaman's eyes narrowed dangerously, and the leonid Nekorian, who had joined us in the room, growled. "Don't tell me the demons have taken that away from you as well. Have they brain washed you to the point that you don’t even recognize your own goddess."

“Now--” I tried to speak

“Shut it. No word from your mouth will be believed Demon. Your kind are full of tricks.” The lion ground out between gritted teeth.

Felin turned to him, snapping, "The demons have taken nothing. Ken's not even a fucking demon," she waved her hand at me, "he's a human that used an item in the dungeon and it turned him into a demon."

The two older Nekorians frowned, taking a closer look at me. "Oh, he's a human," the male said, "Well, that makes this easy enough. We don't have to be concerned about retribution from that end now."

A sword was suddenly cutting the air between me and him as he sprang into action to cut me down. He was definitely faster than me, but not so fast I couldn't activate [Dodge] while sidestepping. His blade narrowly missed me.

Felin pulled the claws out between her knuckles and slashed towards the Nekorian's face.

He barely avoided her claws, a small line of blood appearing on his face as he stepped back, anger setting into his eyes as he wound up for another strike.

"Stop," the old shaman commanded. Her words pierced through the tension and both of the Nekorians went absolutely still.

"In my presence, I decide the fate of the people." She was being fairly stern to the guard, but I was under no illusion that she couldn't have stopped this the second he began his first attack. After all, of those present, she was clearly the highest level by a large margin.

"But shaman," the lion began, but she held a hand up to stop him.

"You could claim ignorance before I spoke, but now I've spoken. It is not your turn. Your continued disagreement with me becomes your fault." The shaman answered.

The man stopped, his jaw tensing. I could read the undercurrent that said, 'you failed to kill him with a single blow and you failed in general.’

I'd have to be incredibly careful. I nudged Felin as subtly as I could, only for the older shaman's eyes to snap back towards me.

"And do not think of trying to escape with that portal of yours," she spoke slowly, "I can guarantee before one fully forms, you won't have functioning legs to step through to the other side."

Well, that made the situation crystal clear.

I was no longer here of my own free will. The shaman was not going to simply kill me. Yet, at the same time, she wasn't going to let me leave.

There was something I was missing in all of this.

The woman spoke slowly, "Now that we know you are not truly a demon, our options are of a significantly wider variety." The woman, at least, gave Felin an apologetic look.

By spilling the beans, it seemed I had lost some sort of protection inherent to being a demon. The Orkai seemed to respect me just for my race and the possible connections I could have as a result. It seemed the Nekorians weren't so different.

"We know very little about these humans. All we have learned so far is that they are a young race and ignorant enough to wander around this depth of the dungeon without [Universal Language].” She began.

“I promise you that will be fixed shortly.” I offered.

“I'm sure it will be. Most races that begin to make it down to at least one of the seven great cities change rapidly. But at present, we have found ourselves several interesting pieces about humans already."

She held up a finger. "One, humans were apparently in contact, at least passively, with a group of Nekorians that we would love to be folded back into our people. Two, you have a great capacity for change. I've never heard of a Nekorian or any other race using an item to transform themselves into another. There was the second lesser demon with you. Is she the same?"

I hesitated before nodding. This woman really was a Nekorian shaman, like Felin. She could probably just force me down and use my tattoo to get the answers anyway.

"Interesting.” She said.

I couldn't quite figure out where she was going with the conversation.

"And three, you are a completely unknown race. Given the first, it is easy to assume that you are a substandard race, new to the Dungeon. However, I can already feel that you yourself have passed a difficult trial. You also sent a subtle hint with the green-haired one to have somebody ready for a portal, which at least shows some intelligence and strategy.”

I nodded, wanting to secure a bit more safety. "They have the ability to generate a portal as well."

The shaman studied me. "Very interesting ability. It works between dungeon floors." It didn't seem much of a question, but there was a slight tone to the words.

I nodded again.

"That you passed a trial and gathered a rather uniquely powerful ability. I would say that in itself the ability has indications of a divine blessing." She studied me.

"Shaman," the guard interrupted her as if knowing where she was going.

The old lady silenced him with a kind of cold glare associated with grandmothers. She didn’t have the same shaggy mane of hair, but rather a plain tawney fur on her ears and her plain tail. It could be they were both the same tribe. "Please don't interrupt again.”

She turned back to us. “What I'm saying is that you are very interesting, as are your people. The woman behind you is a shaman of a rare tribe known as the Spirit Tigers. They were once quite powerful, having a high number of shamans throughout their clan. Though now their numbers are less than a hundred of their oldest and most powerful members still clinging to authority. I can't help but wonder if my own clan would benefit greatly from having one of their shamans added to our number.

“Not to mention the value she would have to them. They would do many things to see their blood continued." The woman was being circumspect, but that didn’t stop my blood from running cold.

Felin frowned. "I have my own clan and family to return to.”

“The ones worshiping... what exactly was it? The dungeon?" Disgust filled the older shaman’s words before she continued. “The goddess Niko is the only god that Nekorians should worship. That you'd grace another with your thoughts and prayers may have already tainted you beyond correction," the shaman pursed her lips. "And I think the best way for that is for you to take a mate amongst the Leomatis clan. Perhaps, through your new mate, you will better understand what it truly means to be a Nekorian. And of course, hopefully, you'll provide progeny that have a predisposition to being shamans. Your tribe seems to pump them out as easy as breathing.”

Felin's eyes went wide with her words, and I could see the moment that Felin seriously considered running. When she tensed, the guard shifted with her as if he would cut her off.

"So," I said, cutting through the moment of tension, "your solution is to take her away from me and what? Try and fold her into your tribe to align with The Spirit Tigers?"

The old shaman gave me a placating smile. "I'm glad you understand and can repeat what I said in simple terms. It seems humans may not be dumb apes after all, or perhaps now that you've become a demon, your brain is working at least a little better."

The veil of civility was firmly peeled off the older shaman. Though she kept up the rhetoric.

"You must understand, hearing that there is a Nekorian that doesn't know of our goddess Neko is a travesty amongst my people. It would be sad if she were an ordinary Nekorian. However, for her to be a shaman, it is, I would say, unconscionable of me to let it simply go. She must be re-educated, and she must be brought back into the fold of Nekorians. Perhaps when all of this is done, she will then be able to help us bridge the gap between us and these others of our kind that have been lost to us through the turbulence of the dungeon."

I had to hold back a serious eye roll. This woman was really drunk on power. But there was no passion behind her words. It was... sophistry.

"Please, spare me the theatrics. Just tell me what you intend to do." I was done with this discussion.

"Well, you'll be imprisoned. And she seems to have feelings for you that we can leverage. Should she disobey, you will pay the prices. Should you try and escape, she’ll suffer. That should get her to follow our directions long enough for the new lessons to stick and keep you from using that portal ability of yours to escape.” The elder shaman stated.

"I will not," Felin growled.

"You will follow. Or he'll have his legs broken," she gestured at me.

I could see Felin hesitate, which meant the Shaman could too.

"I understand. You don't believe I will follow through on my words. I wouldn't be a good leader if I didn't." She smiled at the male Nekorian in the room.

And the savage glee in his grin made my heart jump.

He grabbed Felin and firmly shoved her out of the way. The lion braced his sword across his chest as he barreled into me and shoved me back.

I used Shadow Ambush as he followed up with a swing, melting into my own shadow and popping out of his to dodge the attack.

A moment later, my feet were suddenly locked in a patch of ice, the older Shaman still having motes of magic dancing off of her fingers before the Nekorian spun back around. That vicious grin on his face only grew wider as he saw my predicament and went straight for my legs.

I held a hand down and activated [Absorb] to melt away the shackles on my feet. The ice vanished, and I jumped in the air the next, before twisting and kicking off the surprised Nekorian's chest and launching myself over to Felin.

I grabbed her and the two of us went down together, falling to the ground. I quickly attempted to activate [Portal] to get us out of here.

For a moment, I thought we were actually in the clear. Using the momentum of our roll, I had hoped to escape through the portal. However, I hadn't expected the shaman to be so fast.

The second the portal ability activated, she appeared like a wraith beside me, her staff smashing down on my legs with enough force to instantly shatter both of them into a dozen pieces.

The pain was so intense that my ability, mid-cast, was snuffed out. The forming portal broke apart, and the magic twinkled away.

"I did warn you. If you used that portal, you wouldn't have the legs to walk through it," the shaman's tone was absolute as she stood lording over me. She turned to Felin. "And I think I've proven my point well enough to you. You disobey, he will be punished." She said the words slowly, like she was speaking to a child.

Now, she glanced back at the other Nekorian. "If you will kindly remove this human pretending to be a demon from my residence, then I can begin the education of our newest shaman. Should he disappear, then so will she and he’ll never find her again." She gestured to the other Nekorian, who stooped low and picked me up, roughly bouncing my broken legs on the ground, making me hiss in pain.

I held back any further noise, refusing to give him the satisfaction.

He grinned, showing off his over-large canines at me. "Stand up," he said. Of course, we both knew I couldn't. But that didn't stop him, as he dragged me to my feet like he expected me to, putting my feet on the ground, then letting go.

Instinct kicked in, and I tried to push my feet against the ground and stand. But when I put pressure down, parts of my legs that don’t normally move shifted around. The painful grinding threatened to rip a scream from my throat. It was even worse when I fell and landed on my knees as the stabbing pain redoubled.

The grim reality of my present situation overshadowed everything else. It settled over me like the cold night air with nowhere for shelter.

The male Nekorian grunted. "If you don't walk on your own, I will have to drag you," he grinned.

“Why?” I ground out.

“She represents too much value.” The lion said. “Sowing our tribe with her blue stripes, we can pull one of the most powerful tribes to our side. The struggle for power within the dungeon is never ending. She’s a valuable resource.”

It sickened me and I could only imagine how Felin felt to find her lost people only to be considered a ‘resource’.

"We both know how this ends. Just get it over with," I said, pulling myself up onto my elbows. "I bet you're the kind of person that, even as an adult, still plays with his food. Do you still have fun pretending that your food is other animals and biting their heads off? I bet you do," I said, clicking my tongue.

I wasn't making things easier for myself, but there was a slight satisfaction in pissing him off even further.

He grabbed me by the collar and dragged me, running my face along the ground.

"Shut up," he growled, storming away. "You've brainwashed one of our shamans. That you're still allowed to stay alive to motivate her is lucky enough. You don't need any of your limbs to live."

This Nekorian had a serious bone to pick with me. It was like that first assumption that I had somehow brainwashed Felin had set a bias against me that would just simply not go away. That, or he was proving something by continuing to say it aloud, especially as he exited the building with me in tow.

The other Nekorians could probably hear him and he was just setting the stage for them to have full authority over Felin.

I looked back over my shoulder to try and get one more glance at her, hoping I could give her a nod of reassurance.

She was probably feeling terrible just about now. When they learned I wasn't a demon, the mood of the encounter had changed quickly, and Felin had been the one to spill the beans. I didn't have much time to dwell on any of that though, as my face was being dragged through the dirt.

Other Nekorians stood around watching. Several were pointing out my treatment, but none seemed interested in helping. The Nekorian brought me to a building before he opened the door and threw me inside.

"Pray I don't have a reason to come visit again. Though let's be honest, I probably will. I'm going to enjoy it. I hope you know that," he said, a malicious grin on his face as the door closed behind him.

I rolled over to see I was in the same house that I had just freed Alice from minutes ago. I chuckled. After they had just seen my ability, they left me in here all on my own.

They probably expected me to run. That might be the smart thing to do.

I reached into my CID, and pulled out a healing potion that I quickly chugged before bringing out a stick to bite down on as my body attempted to heal itself. The process was incredibly painful and reinforced the thought I had to run back to Earth right away.

Instead, I activated [Portal] opening straight back to the kitchen of the visitors' building at Haylon. The second I opened up the portal, Crinson came through, her whip out and lashing along the ground.

"Trouble?" she asked, before turning her eyes down to see me. Even if I wasn't still wounded, the state of my clothes and the way I was laying told her enough. Red sparks jumped furiously out of Crinson's eyes as she growled, "Who do I get to kill?"

Comments

Marin was the dragon Summoner from Trusk, Bellaire is the influencer/PR for Silver Fangs, Candice is the Arcane Weaver from his class.

Eric Marsh

The only thing I can think of is that the much, much higher speed stat he’ll have at 60-70 will make the ability buildup time drop to almost nothing. Limit break will have more initial burst, but this would be cool too. Build up a stupid amount of stacks, stop time, start when they’re 30% gone or something and just keep doing it at different levels so they don’t figure it out.

David

I agree, not only is it situational, its ability to retain stacks before rapidly depleting is way to short. It'd be cool if it's an upgradable type through another trial but that seems unlikely. liminal speed is just not on par with limit break like you said, one needs time to be relevant while the other doesn't. I still can't see how Bruce wrote that ability and didn't see it's flaws at all? While also saying ken will be able to match crimson and even surpass her at her strongest? It's still baffling to me that is the case. I wonder how this ability can become more relevant as the story continues

SiI3nt

Yeah, I wish Bruce would go back to the Naga plot

Caniner

Woah, angry much? You do realize that he is technically a second year student, who is already as strong as an experienced adventurer? Curb your expectations. He won’t go around curb stomping high levels

Caniner

They already knew about her though. They met lion boy and other nekos on previous floor, probably would have just demanded to know where she was or the like. And that's assuming felin would have complied with that request.

Bob Bryan

That is actually a really good question.

Alex

When does he get an ability from Felin?

Matthew

Yea, but Ken is just a wimp little asian isekai protaginist that does not deserve her or any of his harem. And he is not just joung master leven trash, but the full on packet of disappointment.

Rotaugur

i believe no. The that zone was level 50 blow one of the cities. from there they went up to level 40 and then down to this safe zone..

Travis Shaw

It seems to me like the surface ones are stronger than the dungeon ones. Unless there’s a hidden shuffle group who are even stronger that pop up out of nowhere.

David

For timing and distance. If she just charged through while Ken and Felin were in a crowd of level 60-70+, there would be an issue. They have their trial passing people too.

David

Ok, upon checking the classmate I had forgotten to add was Candice, and the girl with the Bell-name was that podcaster / influencer - Bellaire? What was the dragon girl's name from the other academy again?

Az Reel

Not her evil clone!

David

Wasn't she one of his classmates? I lost track, might be a different name

Az Reel

It’s too bad Ken’s dungeon trial ability is so situational and requires quite the build up while Crimson’s ability just goes straight full power, crush the enemy, no windup needed. It’s why I still think her ability is way stronger than his. She can murder a raid boss solo, He might be able to kill a party boss with some help. Whole different power scale.

John

Anyone remember if this is the same safe zone that Orkia was in where he said he’d kick the ass if anyone causing problems? Cause if so well they got some problems.

John

i'm more wondering what will these Nekorian's do when they learn there are 1000's more of her people that believe in the Great one and not this goddess they all believe in.

Kris Solstice

Well that tribe subscribes to the concept of might makes right. Alright then, bring in the murderhobos.

Steve

Who the heck is “Belinda”

Jeremy Daniels

I absolutely love Crimson!! She is incredible!

Jeremy Daniels

Bad kitties - no cream for you I love to hate those Leomatis guys, both the shaman and her bully-boy (probably a grandson or other relative). I just hope that they don't get the Shitstain Treatment, where they pull all sorts of crap that should by rights get them snuffed, but they aren't because of "reasons." On the other hand, their treatment of Ken is a much needed reminder to him that there is always a bigger fish in the Dungeon, and even with his new skills and all the levels and stats he gained in the raid and with his race change, he should not get too overconfident. In fact, this is a lesson Crimson needs to learn as well, I just don't want her to learn it from the Rotten Kitties (Sorry Craig Alanson, I had to misappropriate that moniker). #NoCream4RottenKitties #Freedom4Felin #Ami4Harem (where is Ami? Did she get caught up in the Dungeon shift and nobody noticed? Or is she off doing ninja-butler things? #Penny4Harem #Tish4Harem #Neldra4Harem #Felicity4Harem #Selene4Harem #Belinda4Harem #Taylor4Harem #Cream4(Good)Kittens

Az Reel

Well deserved. Oh great one, accept this meager offering... of all the fucking racist, ra*e-endorsing shit-cats corpses.

Lukas

For me, it will be 8 am. So I better read about the impending massacre over my second morning-coffe. If there is even the hint of a peaceful or diplomatic approach after this, I won't bother with this series again. Prince shitstain tested my patience too much already.

Lukas

Good one! But then again, doing something smart seems not to be in the cards for kens team...

Lukas

I just read all the other comments and it warms my heart that practically everyone agrees that these shit-cats need to die and ken needs to grow stronger (and preferrably grow a backbone and brain, good that both come together, somewhat explaining why he currently seems to lack both ^^

Lukas

Amen to that.

Lukas

On the one hand, I hate that felin actually got "katnapped". On the other, I have no sympathy for the nekorians at all now (partially because I very much disliked neko from DAO, so they as a race are on my shit-list already. Add to that that they worship her) On my hypothetical third hand, I want this to be short (the kidnapping part, I hate stories where the goal is to simply regain the status quo, like "take an entire book to get the girl back" Let's just make this the moment the nekorians regret for the rest of their lifes. Let crimson paste them now, take felin back, and simply accept that other species in the dungeon can't be trusted and start acting like it. I kinda agree with the nekorian shaman that humans are stupid, but that is the lingering effects of the last few DD-books, so I try my best not to hold it against this book. Here is an idea: Use the coming war between necorians and humans be the true proofing ground for ken to truely catch up to crimson. Give him a fix for the initial stacks or take inspiration from solo-leveling (ken the incubus shadow-monarch sounds amazing) At this point (how many books are we in now) please just let ken become op and lets indulge in a fun powerfantasy, since that is the endgame of all these protagonists of the sentar-verse. Embrace it. On that note, I'm gonna start the solo-leveling audiobook now. I need something to cleanse this foul mood this chapter left me with. Mind you, not because the chapter was bad. But a stupid abduction, neko from DAO , and a weakling ken just make this "perfect storm" for me right now. I don't even know why this pisses me off so much! I'm gonna think on that for a while. A great day to everyone who read this dumb rant over nothing.

Lukas

My question is why did Crimson wait for Ken to open the portal? Des has the portal ability too she could have opened another portal to the safe zone for Crimson as soon as she got ahold of her.

Joseph Michael

the last 2 paragraphs you call her Crinson Crinson came through,.....

Mark J

He should not have taken Felin with him into a safezone with nekorians in the first place. All he had to do to prevent this, is to go behind a larg rock or tree and open a portal to send her home for the time being. That would have prevented them finding out about her and he could have collected the other idiots/humans from them

Rotaugur

The disdain the surface Nekorians have for the dungeon doesn’t really make sense to me. It connects multiple worlds, grants powerful skills and items, and responds when provoked.

David

X gon’ give it to ya Fuck waitin’ for you to get it on your own, X gon’ deliver to ya It’s going to be in my head all day and I’m not even mad about it.

David

I had a moment of “no.. please don’t go this route” until they didn’t take his CID and he popped that portal.

David

Can we get the next chapter early please. I don't think my ADHD can handle the wait and please no filler chapters just let Felin be saved and Crimson get to let loose for once, let her take down the shaman a peg or two down.

Aaron Berube

This is another instance of, "If you weren't being a dick, your people would still be alive." -Crimson edition

Chioke Nelson

Oh yay. What a totally unexpected turn of events🙄

Noir

Yay crimson better murder the stupid felin tribe!

Gennydoll Weber

I hope not. Kind of hope the dungeon nekorians team up with the humans to correct thr surface ones.

Bob Bryan

He really couldn't, she is stronger than him or appears to be so he didn't really have a choice at that point. Ken and the rest need to get stronger so next time, he can do that.

Bob Bryan

Crimson going into blender mode

Jared

Probably, it's just more this keeps happening again and again and again. Plus after just finishing up with the prince where that was pushed almost the entire book, it's just frustrating that it is happening again so soon. Could be worse and I do get why it's happening even if I am also annoyed by it.

Bob Bryan

We JUST lost two members

Jose Paz III

People in the comments losing it over a situations that's probably going to be resolved in like... 1-2 chapters.

Sébastien Kingsbury

In my mind, "X Gon' Give It To Ya" was playing as Crimson came through the portal to fuck shit up

Colin Holloway

My guess is that Felin has to go back to her Nekorians to protect them, and that frees up a spot in the party sooner for a new girl

Salientmind

This better be over immediately if Bruce milks it again it's a drop for me losing teammates over and over is just dull

Jose Paz III

Let's call ir how it is the shaman was advocating for having Felin raped she has to die and the lost nekorians need to make it very clear this is the reason they want nothing to do with the surface maybe the Leonids are the problem and their tribe will be ostracised for her actions, it would be very satisfying for the surfac3 to no5 all be Dicks.

Grimmace

I hope this will teach ken to be more carefull with other races and let him learn to show a strong front from now on. What he should have done, is to demand that the shaman comes to him to speak, and not try to suck up to a hostile fraction, especialy as he knew, that the necorials will most likely react in that way.

Rotaugur

Nah, she's ok with forcing Felin to breed with whoever this shaman chooses. She needs to stay dead as an example to others.

Lycaon

Indeed. I hope that it's just this group, and that the rest of Felin's lost people aren't all a bunch of racist people that are ok with raping women for political gain.

Lycaon

Agreed.

Lycaon

She might not be, Bruce has stated before that not all of his series are connected.

Bob Bryan

Please just have crimson and ken kill them, not diplomacy or felin split up from them. When this happened with the elves, that i understood. This time, please don't.

Bob Bryan

The Neko goddess is from an earlier series from Bruce. Not really an adventurer per say, but a member of a harem of a god. So I guess a goddess is an apt term for her.

Christopher Gino

If Ken let's this go and tries to resolve it peacefully, I'll have to stop reading this series. He is starting to act to much like a sissy.

Chris Cooper

Bet the Neko goddess is a fraud and just high level

Val the mysterious Jedi

The shaman should be left alive, someone needs to send the message back. "Thou shall not offend the humans, lest they send the Crimson." Everyone else, dead. All dead. Bloody, furry, dead smears.

vardic d

I think it just freezes the cool down because I think when he used it against the beetle boss in the raid he popped all the abilities that weren't actively on cool down

Kayler

When he uses liminal space all other skills are unavailable. I think it said so when they were fighting that first undead boss a couple of chapters ago.

Andrew Foster

I wholeheartedly agree.

Mark Ryane

Everyone. Until we have our kitten back kill them all

Jeremy Patrick

For. real. Man, I must be tired, It's still under my skin.

Envious

I’m hoping for a situation where someone from her particular variant finds out. What happened and Ken gets thanked for weakening an enemy of theirs. Or something like that

Blnded

That’s what happens when might makes right combined with religious views. But not sure if it is that, it mostly seems more of a power grab then religious and just using that as an excuse. Reminds me of the duke trying to take power from the emperor.

Nozzy

Good chapter even if it left me feeling a little disappointed. Genuinely feel like it would have been a better show Ken's growth for him to bait the lion dude into a 1v1 not to win but just to build up enough stacks to use liminal space throw his kitten over his shoulder open a portal while everyone stuck in time and dip out. It would have showed growth in his ability to think tactically while also showing that those who are significantly higher level can still beat him then he could have come back with crimson for revenge if that's the route we want to go

Kayler

Well I mean with a couple of the comments made it sounds like power struggles are a thing. On the Nekorian world too and them wanting to use felin to get her “sub race?” (Or whatever you want to call it) to join them. Sometimes it’s nice having an enemy that’s just out in the open that can be killed. But I could see this playing out so many different ways and can’t wait to see what he does with it

Blnded

It's been a while since Crimson has let loose. Looking forward to her riverdancing on that shaman's face.

Austin Richins

Looking forward to Ken and Crimson going on a rampage I think after a good amount of the Nekorians are slaughtered the new races might start showing humans some respect

Billy Nowosielski

And the Great One said, here are my champions where's your goddess, bitch?

GentlemanG33k

I do not care for this kind of plot.

Lycaon

Kill them all!!

Mister42

Fuuuuuuck, what an awful cliffhanger to be left on. I shouldn’t have read today’s chapter because now this anticipation is killing me.

Vorsayo

Damn this chapter has got my blood up. Expectim the leonitus to die but the shamen to be a draw. This has the setup of the reunion between the tribes as a whole

Cory Orr

I'm guessing the Chances of Felin's clan rejoining their planet is not likely. It is sad they don't have their own planet.

Mavrox

So the bitch shaman and pet lion boy die on the next chapter right!! There will be no prince shtstain situation again right!!! Where they don't die because of plot right!!!

CesarC.

Oh the end of this chapter is too good. Tomorrow cannot ,come soon enough. @Bruce please tell me we get some serious asskicking after that scene and it’s not some stupid nekorian plot that doesn’t end in lots of violence. I’d love to see Crimson off her chain while still in control.

John

Well, I know what I’ll be doing at 2 AM tomorrow.

Neyha

Wow racist tribe. Let's hope Crimson can handle them.

Posiden 300

I know, right? Kind want the Shaman to suffer humiliation and being crippled like she did with Ken.

Jamie R

Seriously :( what a fucking cliffhanger!! I miss the double chapters

William Ray

So many dead nekorians. Oh well

BigJCSoto

man... It's been awhile since I hated a group of characters so much. Are we sure this can't be a double chapter day?

Envious

And here I was thinking the old shaman lady was going to be the smart one. Instead she’s a religious power hungry finatic

Raul Salazar

Bahahaha! Oh, I am going to love seeing the shock and terror on the Shaman's face at a Limit Break Crimson Rampage. Of course, Ken and Charlotte would be happy to offer revives... As long as the Nekorians grovels for how she treated him. No attempt to understand the social divide caused by the dungeon. Just immediate "reeducation" for Felin before forcing her into being a baby factory. Disgusting. Hope Ken and Crimson wipe this tribe out. Or at least make them rethink their approach to humans. But Ken gets to kill Lion Face, and maybe shatter the Shaman's legs in retribution? Imagine if he used Mana Burn and Mana singularity on a clearing magic focuses class like her? I get culture difference caused by separation, and Nekorians culture has an importance on Shamans... But taking away Felins on right to making her own decisions... I might see how this will actually turn the Spirit Tigers of ue dungeon, and their remnant on the Nekorians world, against other tribes if they learn what they tried to force Felin into... Humans don't really need another race to war with, but it seems this Shaman wants to start one, and possibly cause a civil war. Religious fanatics are terrifying in their single minded faith, but also the main cause for their downfall is that blind faith. Overall though. Good chapter! Not trying to sway the story, just venting frustrations at characters making dumb decisions.
