THE VERY FIRST SHOOTING

Today I'd love to share the very first shooting I had with Dilyana, so this was a bit of a warm-up for both of us on that day, so we could get to know each other a bit! She was a little shy in the beginning but I think she did a great job anyway. She's originally from Bulgaria and even after our shooting she got in trouble for those photos because people from her hometown were judging and even attacking her.
That shoes me once more, that it's the right thing to create those photos because every woman has the right to feel comfortable in her own body and to express that through the medium of her choice. You know, she's a mother and told me that she hasn't been on her own since she was a teenager, because she was always in a relationship and taking care of her child ever since, and working on these photos gave her a time-out and quality time to herself, and that's what I think is most important. She feels good doing it, and that's nobody else's business.
I know it's not a super spectacular setting, but to me, the set means a lot and I love seeing her being so comfy in front of my cam and feeling good about herself.
Shortly after that, we shot her milky way set!
