Dao 4 Chapter 21

Dar was still recovering from the black blade that had fallen from the heavens and taken two celestials to shatter. That sort of power was something that made Dar’s skin crawl, and he kept looking around his shoulder, waiting for whatever had created it to appear. But nothing did.

Whatever it was, it had not liked that they had killed a Mo.

“Dar, this would be the appropriate time to start speaking to Sha.” Bai nudged him gently.

“Right.” Dar took in the palace that he had been deposited on and started up the final few steps, somewhat concerned that the step might sink and split out from under him.

But they held, and he ascended the platform with quick steps to not test them too fully.

“Sha, my apologies for barging onto your land, but I came to remove the Mo.” Dar got right down to business.

The celestial spirit before him was a beautiful woman. Her body was draped in gold cloths that seemed endless as their ends had a continuous sprinkle of sand onto the desert.

She had a regal bearing, like a queen of the desert.

Rather than refute him, she glanced at Bai. “Is this true?”

“Yes. I brought him here to slay the fire serpent that was sealed here.” Bai gestured out at the ice amid the destruction. “It was destroyed, not just sealed, Sha. Destroyed.”

The Spirit of the Desert leaned back on her throne. “And that black blade?”

“For all I know that could have been you. But it was not us, and it seemed to come after we killed the Mo.” Dar shrugged. “I have no idea where that came from.”

Bai and Valdis came up to join him at the top of the platform. Bai summoned a chair of ice for herself.

Dar decided to do the same using his lava for himself and for Valdis.

“Bai, you know the world is in a delicate balance. Just because we can kill the Mo doesn’t mean we should.” Her eyes shifted past them to where the sand was settling in the desert. The giant scar left by the single attack was apparent, even with sand filling it in partially. “We don’t know what the result will be. It’s even possible that it would end the mana we so enjoy.”

“You would rather the Mo continue to unleash devils upon your lands?” Dar asked. Though he recognized the damage to the land that could occur if celestial strength being started to fight.

Sha gave him a scowl for speaking but let it pass. “My people are resilient. The desert is cruel as well, but people learn to live in harmony with it. It is a very delicate harmony that you may have just disrupted. For a simple change in the breeze can kill thousands out here.”

“And you would accept that for everyone who lives in your desert? Don’t you want better for them?” Dar shot back.

Sha fixed him with a placid gaze. “It is the way of the desert.”

“Don’t bother, Dar. Sha is ancient and she knows nothing more than the way it has always been for her.” Valdis crossed her arms and leaned back.

If the old spirit was offended by Valdis, she didn’t show it. Instead, the Desert Spirit just kept her focus on Dar.

Dar took a moment to try to figure out a new tactic. He had to think like an old woman of the desert, someone who had lived her life amid the sands. “I’m able to hunt and kill Mo. As far as I’m aware, I’m the only one. But I don’t just kill them, I consume them. They are my prey, and I will walk your sands to hunt them.”

“You would over hunt them to extinction?” Sha countered.

“They are nothing but destructive.”

She narrowed her eyes. “Destruction that produces mana, the very mana that provides you with the enhanced strength and control of the elements you enjoy.”

“There has to be another way.” Dar wouldn’t give in.

Rather than continue to argue with him, Sha focused back on Bai. “And you intend to help him? Why?”

“For his dao companionship of course.” Bai frowned at the table and then looked at Dar pleadingly.

He knew exactly what she wanted, so he pushed at Amber in his inner world. Moments later, she bled out of his shadow with a pot of tea and several cups. “Milord.” She served him first before Bai, who looked eager for her tea.

Dar was getting the feeling that Bai just really liked being served in an elegant manner wherever she wanted it.

Sha watched the affair curiously. “She comes and goes from your shadow.”

“Mostly, I just say they like to come and go.” Dar replied.

“There’s more of them.” Bai inserted.

Sha frowned, realizing she’d been distracted from what she was going to say. “Why do you seek his dao companionship?”

Bai gave the spirit a predatory smile. “Because he grows stronger with each Mo he consumes. It is more apt to say that he absorbs the Mo, their dao becomes his own.”

Sha let out a knowing grunt. “How demon like. If one makes you stronger, then a dozen would be better. This is not so simple. You even had something strike at you for attempting to devour this Mo. Who is to say there are not more?”

Dar had a thought, and for a moment he hesitated to bring it up, but the more it sat in his mind the more it felt like the right answer. “Question for both of you. What happened to the Drasil?”

It was a question that he had brought up before with others and only gotten fluff answers, because no one seemed to really know.

But if Sha was as old as Bai had made her out to be, maybe she knew.

“They are dead.” Sha answered quickly.

Even Bai looked a little surprised. “Dead? How can you be sure?”

“Because I knew one.” Sha leaned back in her throne and evaluated Dar. “Why do you ask this?”

Dar looked back up at the sky where the blade fell. “This single attack required both of you to defeat it. When I arrived, the stories I heard put Mo and Drasil on the same level, but now it feels like Celestials are the same level as the Mo. So what would have killed the Drasil?”

Dar’s words were clearly making Sha uncomfortable based on the way she squirmed in her seat. “I have no idea. But I know the Drasil were killed. There used to be one that performed a role similar to Lilith. It went around beating down the Mo to keep them at bay. It was killed, and the power I used to associate with them now belongs to a Mo within my territory.”

“Could they have become a Mo?” Valdis asked, leaning forward into the conversation for the first time.

“No. They were seen covered in wounds and fleeing by my people. It became a bit of a legend among demons in the southern region.” Sha looked in that direction with unease. “The Mo has been sealed several times by Lilith.”

“The big turtle?” Valdis filled in the pieces, clearly recognizing the Mo based on the location.

“Yes.” Sha nodded sadly. “The Drasil used to bring water to the parched land. He was worshiped by spirits and demons.”

“Was it balanced when that water was taken away from your people? Or would it be so bad if I took that power back?” Dar pushed Sha further.

“If you are to clear my land of Mo, then that shall be the last one you finish.” Sha slapped her throne with some sense of finality, emotion entering her eyes after talking of the fallen Drasil for the first time since they started the conversation. “I will lead you to the Mo in my territory.”

Apparently, dredging up that memory had done something. But at least Dar was happy to have Sha on their side.

Dar almost smiled before she jumped to say the next part. “But in return, I would like your dao companionship. If you can take that Mo’s power, I want it. I want to bring water back to my desert.”

Dar nearly rolled her eyes. At this rate, every celestial was going to want to become his dao companion. But the elbow in his side once again from Valdis made him school his face in a smile. “Dao companionship is different to me than many. Please, speak with Bai and Valdis. I would be willing to offer you the same offer I gave Bai.”

“Suitable.” Sha nodded and stepped down from her throne. “Let’s be off.”

“Wow, Dar. Not one but two celestials vying for your attention.” Cherry giggled as she sat with his harem in his inner world.

He had finished explaining what was to happen.

Dar held his hands up in surrender. “They just want my dao that I acquired from the Mo, and both of them only get dates. I’m not just pimping myself out for their help.”

“Sure.” Cherry sounded unconvinced. “Sha is pretty hot though.” Cherry started to make lewd round gestures. “She’s got curves for days. And her skin practically glows; it's so smooth.”

“We aren’t having this conversation.” Dar cut her off and focused on the other ladies present. “What do the rest of you think?”

Neko tilted her head and her ears flopped to the side. “Kittens?”

“Yes. As soon as this all settles down. I will work my hardest to put kittens in you.” Dar promised her. It was long overdue, and he knew just how much she wanted them.

“We’ll continue to follow you, Milord. You’ve given us plenty already. Though maybe if you keep expanding your harem, we might need a third.” Amber tapped at her lips.

“Consider it done. Pick someone out, and if they agree, I’ll stuff them full of dao fruit.” Dar looked up at the tree that was budding with dozens of partially completed fruit. And there was still plenty of the fruit left from the ettercaps and the insect hive they’d killed.

“Tami?” He had to nudge the deer demon into speaking.

“Um… I don’t know?” She hesitated. “It has been a pleasure just living here and the growth in my dao path. I want to continue to help how I can. I just… I don’t want to go back to my family.”

Dar reached over and patted her shoulder. “You are here with your own family. Never will you have to go back to Kindrake. Unless you want to go rub your new strength into their face one day.”

She smiled and Dar knew that was definitely something that would bring her joy. She still had the promises she had mad on her dao to her father, but it seemed as long as she stayed with him, that she was not breaking them.

“What about you, Valdis?”

“I’m part of this now?” She teased. “Well, I want you to finish your life dao and help me create the dao of reincarnation. Beyond that, you already promised me you’d help me find Lilith so we could bring her back.”

Dar nodded along with her. “Okay, then we have a plan. We are traveling with Bai and Sha to the Mo of Sineld, and with their help we will destroy them. Between our stops, I want to focus on us growing stronger, and reconnecting our dao paths.”

“Kittens!” Neko jumped in his lap and started to grind her ass against him. “Neko knows Dar likes making kittens.”

“Yes. I do my lovely Neko.” Dar didn’t remind her that he didn’t think he could get her pregnant in his inner world. The leopard demon was just too enthusiastic as she continued to rub her back side against him.

“Maybe we should leave.” Tami grabbed Valdis’ shoulder.

“But they are practically begging me to watch.” The valkyrie cried out even as she didn’t resist Tami pulling her away.

Little shoots of green growth sprouted out around them as Cherry bit her lip watching.

“Don’t you have something to do?” Dar groaned as Neko continued to rub up against him. Neko leaned back into him and started to kiss at his neck.

“Nope. Can’t think of anything.” Cherry watched as her eyes continued to glow brighter green and the new growth started to wind around his feet and up his legs. “Besides, maybe you should use that life dao on Neko. Maybe it will help with pregnancy.”

Neko grabbed Dar’s face and forced him to look into her eyes. “Kit~tens.”

The maids disappeared somewhere, but he doubted it was far.

“Maybe we should go to a room and take off our clothes there.” Dar tried to reason with Neko, but a swift flick of her fingers had his clothes in ribbons. Then she tore out strategic sections of her own, though it remained on. If anything, it made her look a wild type of sexy as she continued to grind against him.

Reaching down, she shredded his pants so that there was finally skin on skin contact just where she wanted.

Dar could feel just how soaking wet she was as she wiggled him into position and continued to grind.

“You want me to fill you with kittens?” Dar whispered in her ear as he reached around and cupped her chest, playing with her nipples.

He wasn’t sure if Cherry was right, but he tried to focus the new dao he’d been practicing into his erection as Neko lifted her hips and eagerly impaled herself on him.

Neko’s juices ran down his length to pool under his balls.

“Hot.” Cherry leaned on the table and watched. “Neko, you should start dancing on his lap.”

The cat girl reached over her head and held onto Dar’s neck as she started to squirm in his lap, bouncing over his shaft.

She let out something halfway between a purr and a moan as she started to work him into her soft and tight paradise. “Neko love Dar. Make beautiful kittens.”

Dar reached in between the tears on her clothing and played with her soft inviting breasts, teasing her nipples.

“Nyah.” Neko let out a little shout of surprise but didn’t stop.

Instead she sped up, riding him for all that she was worth.

Their union smacked as Neko started to swing her hips into it, bouncing her pert ass against him. “Dar, breed Neko, give Neko the seed of life. Do it.” She begged as she sped up to a blistering pace.

Neko only had one goal in mind, to fill herself with Dar’s seed. And she was definitely going to ride him hard until she got it.

Dar grunted, feeling the buildup and his balls tense, only to remember the dryad watching him across the table with eyes that were like two green suns at the moment.

“Breed her Dar, fill her up.” Cherry had her hand under the table, working herself as she pinched her nipple with the other hand. It pulled her white dress in ways that showed off all of her curves.

“Give Neko kittens.” Neko begged, pumping herself on him.

Dar held Neko tight and slammed her down onto him as he felt himself spurt up into her womb.

“Yessss.” Neko melted against him. “Kit~tens.” She looked up into his eyes, her vibrant green irises deepening, like two soulful pools.

They melted Dar’s heart. He could see how deeply she wanted to make little kittens with him.

Like Cherry suggested, Dar pushed his new greater daos of regeneration and new growth into his seed, hoping for Neko’s sake that it worked.

But when he looked over the table for his dryad, she was gone.

Neko looked down to see the two glowing green orbs of Cherry’s eyes under the table. “Neko’s seed.” She rose off of him with a wet pop, and cupped her hands over her sex.

Cherry appeared once more, slipping up closer to Dar and capturing his slippery cock with her mouth. The dryad moaned in delight as she slowly and tenderly drew it past her lips, suckling on it and savoring it as she licked off their combined juices.

The dryad was like she was in a trance as she tenderly drew Dar back to a full errection and suckled on his head, drawing every drop of seed out of him before she pulled back. “I need to tend to my tree. You can stay if you like, Neko.”

Dar groaned as Cherry engulfed him again with her luscious lips, and her tongue drew dao characters along the bottom of his shaft.

“Neko calls next.” The cat girl molded up against Dar’s side, looking deep into his eyes once more, hope and glee filling them at the latest chance to have kittens.

Dar kissed Neko, and she rubbed up against him, her tongue and lips battling with his as Cherry worked like she was polishing him with her tongue.

The dryad could really work him over. There were things she thought to do with her tongue that he never would have imagined. She certainly knew how to drive him wild, and at that moment, she was using every bit of the knowledge.

Letting himself enjoy Cherry’s attention, he pulled Neko against his side, holding her tightly as she purred against him and nuzzled into his neck.
