And that is the end of the book. I hope you enjoyed it. Even if you don’t love Miles, I hope at the very least the story was interesting. From the beginning, I was fairly sure some people were going to have a bad reaction to Miles, but in the end, it was the book I wanted to write. The series is planned as a trilogy because so much of the story is about Miles’ redemption and struggles with his own morality, and I have little interest in needlessly stretching that part out. Next book of course is set up for his villainous mentor to come back into the picture and that will create some lovely conflict as she no doubt tries to pull Miles back to the dark side and he tries to save her. But at what cost?

Also, a small note, I've gone back and made some of my biggest beta edits to date. Mostly around the Omnigirl plot, both making her a little more evil and actually getting some remorse/justice out of the following conversations with Mindfuck and Kim. Nothing huge, but you might notice it.

Mana is off to a slow start, if I’m honest. Maybe there’s a little inner toil of my own on how to end the series that launched me into a full-time author. But I had an epiphany when I went on a hunt for a pack of batteries that I knew I’d seen somewhere in the house. Only when finally gave up looking for them did I finally find them. So, I have stopped trying to force Mana 6 out and just letting myself go for a ride. It’s a little slower, a little more family and harem oriented. But I’m getting it done and I like it.

Mana 6 is on deck. Dragon 4 is next. Then I’ll need to decide between dao and supervillains.

I’ve been asked when I’ll return to cultivation and I have plans for that, but probably not until after the supervillain trilogy. My biggest problem is that I have just too many ideas. The top 3 are a LitRPG Post Apoc, warlock and demon summons as the primary harem. (starts 2 days after the end of Mana) An isekai, suppressed elf male, gets access to LitRPG like system and goes off on an adventure. (Probably on the smuttier side.) Cultivation with isekai and a focus on Body Cultivation with partner combatants like Fate/Stay Night (You know he’s going to be stealing or gaining more than one partner.)

Audio is rolling along. Dragon 3 is being recorded. Mana 5 is scheduled to be done by the end of April. And dao 2 in May. There is currently no plan for supervillains audio. I know, we all want the audio. But there’s just too much on my plate. I wanted to simplify my audio but even that is becoming difficult for stupid reasons. So it is in limbo for the time being.

Oh and because I'm trying not to do everything the night of release on this one. This one is going up for preorder. Glad I did, because I submitted it last night and it got stuck >.< So hopefully I can get it out today. If there was a book they want to have a spat over, I'm glad it is this one that I got started 3 days early :)

Not going to lie I'm super hyped for Saving Supervillains 2. Even if it didn't have all the fluff I'd have still been excited. Also as an avid fan of Lit Post Apoc (hoping it gets picked) I'm interested in the character you'll use. Don't really care much for Elf MCs but Isekai's are pretty cool lol Regardless I'm looking forward to whatever the decision!

That's a fair criticism of the genre, but then again I've always imagined that it's not that there's not other decent people in the world, just that they are probably minding their own business and not making trouble like the ones the MC's usually have to deal with. It's the idea that the loud minority making it seem like the majority are acting like that. Like, does it matter if only 5% of the population is looting, pillaging and raping if that's the 5% causing trouble and getting in everyone's way? Worst part is that this is fairly realistic since even during natural disasters there's always a portion of the population that decides to go out looting and making trouble.

I always love the idea of these post-apocalyptic stories, but it's really hard to make them seem realistic. It always seems that the MC and group are the only good people around and everyone else is the worst of the worst. They rarely have neutral/good interactions with other survivors.

Haha. Now look here... 2020 has been a really long year for us all. >.<

Yeah SS isn’t for me, but I think you’ll find decent success with it. Definitely looking forward to Mana 6!!

I loved supervilans. Miles is now my second favorite character of yours.

Brandon Stephens

Oh wow, I hadn’t realized it was so much. I’d heard some authors complaining that creating them cost so much they never actually made the money back but it sounds like you don’t have that problem. Good luck with it!

Tanner Lovelace

I like that he has valid reasons for the way he is and his actions. I hate when an author makes a supposed hero do dark shit for no other reason than to be edgy.

Daniel Glasson

My favorite on your new ideas is still the apocalyptic story. The Isekai body cultivation does sound interesting as well, just nowhere near as much right now. The last one would be more about it's done, from just the brief description I could take it or leave it.

You put the date wrong…

It's usually about another third of my ebook sales.

Bruce Sentar

Personally for myself, I don’t care at all if a story is out on audio or not. I’m curious, though, how much it adds to book sales since there are obviously people who listen instead of reading.

Tanner Lovelace

Mana 6 is next. I'm about halfway through writing it.

Bruce Sentar

Not that it matters as I would enjoy either one, but I’m having trouble with how you worded it, but is it Dragon or Mana that you are releasing next.

CHoobler

What happens to Miles in parts of the story is very unfair to him. Its going to cause some emotions and some people are just not going to like that. But I think that's part of a dark story.

Bruce Sentar

I think some might have an issue with Miles as he is darker than most of your protagonists. The whole story is a darker than the others but it's awesome. Not everyone can be a paladin.

Daniel Glasson

Glad you enjoyed writing we loved reading it. It's gonna do great for once i'm hyped for a trilogy! That fate stay night novel sounds badass I love FSN so can't wait for you to do something like that. Will be posting that preorder whenever it comes out cannot wait to reread this book it was a fun ride also don't forget paperback! ;D
