This beat and video seems more of a underground production more than it does mainstream. That's probably why it's cool
I honestly don't mind the apology, and the fact that J Cole backed away.
The reason I don't mind it is because we should know by now that rap beefs can turn toxic real fast, and go beyond words.
I always thought Kendrick was better anyway, but J Cole without talking shit could still show how he's the best in his own way after backing out the beef.
Not only that, but it seems that it hasn't hurt his career one bit. Only person who is hurting is Drake's. Cole still getting work, and it seems that his fans are louder than ever in support.
I was expecting more from him in this though... If he made the hook sound like a fire verse then I could imagine what he would've done if he did an actual verse to this beat...
