Subscription Billing
Added 2024-10-16 18:31:51 +0000 UTCHi guys! Long time no talk, as I was stuck doing familial obligations out of state for a week. That being said patreon has been hassling me to switch to subscription billing as apple is ~demanding it~ starting in november... Iiii am not doing that, it will just be impossible to subscribe to me through the app store but iirc it's more expensive to do that for new subscribers anyway? So I recommend (or insist, even) that new subs join via desktop or some other means besides apple's App Store. I'm gonna push off subscription billing until nov2025 if I can manage it, because the pay-up-front-then-on-the-1st system really works for me, I really benefit from seeing a somewhat consistent payout on the 1st, it works with bills and other things. I dunno. I just hate that they're trying to force a switch and I'm gonna be petulant and push it off long as I can.
Just an update to let you guys know! Then I'm gonna get back to posting as usual as I'm back home! Hope you're having a good one, we came back to our state to find fall was in full swing and I am really feeling the vibes. Spooky indie video game recommendations, anyone?
