Recovery

tl;dr: The 0.14.0 release is delayed until the 6th of April for Patrons and then 10th for the public.

Sculptor 0.13.0 Release

Sorry for the slow release and smaller release this time. I was ill over the weekend  (fortunately not COVID-19) which stopped me getting as much done as I wanted as quickly as I wanted. Sculptor 0.12.1 Release

This is the first public 0.12 release, for Patrons this contains no new content since 0.12.0, just bug fixes.

This release does not contain the new scene art, unfortunately, but it is on its way, and barring any unforeseen circumstances should be in the next release (which will be in two weeks as normal, on the 16th for Patrons/20th publicly).

Sculptor 0.11.1 Release


This is the first public 0.11 release.

This release involves some route specific content for each route, alongside some general content. It also includes a ton of fixes for small, persistent bugs.

The android build is still very experimental, and I suspect may be entirely broken on some devices. I'm looking into that, but anyone willing to test it would really be helping if you report any bugs (or if it works!).

Coming Soon: Custom scene artwork.

I'm excited to finally show you all some of our first custom scene artwork from the first core scene in the game.

Firstly, to temper expectations: I can't guarantee that this will drop in 0.12. It is possible, but the work isn't done and as it is the first scene it is hard to say how long it will take exactly. With that said, it is on its way, as you get to see.

Hot off the presses, here is 0.11.0—apologies for the delay on this one. As mentioned elsewhere, I have some plans to shift around my day job work hours to try and avoid having the release date right after my best period for working on it, hopefully avoiding delays.

Milestones and Plans

We hit the $250 a month milestone, and also 100 Patrons. While I try to avoid spamming the Patreon page with too many non-release posts, I really felt a need to say how incredible it is that so many people are supporting Sculptor. Truly, thank you all.

Coming Soon: Custom sprites in 0.10.0

After far too long, I'm happy to announce the stuff with our new artist worked out and I have just been delivered the new antagonist sprites, a few variations of which can be found above.

Sculptor 0.9.0 Release

It has been a busy couple of weeks! Art Issues

I am sorry to make this post, but unfortunately am forced to: we are going to have to find a new artist, as it has become clear our old one was not going to complete the work.

As you will know, artwork was meant to drop in 0.4.0, at the end of October. Our artist couldn't complete the work by then, despite thinking they could. This happens and we aimed for the next release.
