Yeah, I think so too. But still, in a 1 on 1, Sitting Bull vs Custer, who would have come out on top? The veteran soldier fresh from the civil war, one of the few to defeat J.E.B Stuart, or the veteran warrior and medicine man, the senior of the two.

Thank you!

Custer vs Sitting Bull in a wrestling ring would have been an awesome way to open this episode

Next time I'm in the Dakotas I plan to go to the Crazy Horse monument though I doubt I'll live long enough to see it finished.

Good video, I appreciate the objectivity, but when doing a series like this in the future. I feel like you should add a little more of your usual humor. Many said that discussions of serious topics benefit from it. So please consider it.

Many of the names of the indigenous folks in this story are taken as translated phrases, are they actually supposed to be understood this way in the Lakota language or is this an artefact of how settlers and caravan migrants who encountered them came to understand their way of naming themselves?

PhlubbaDubba

I remember him in the movie too though not very well. And yes he’s actually in it.

Anyone else familiar with the film franchise Night At The Museum? I seem to recall that the second film in that franchise had a highly comic version of General Custer as a character.
