One Million Subs - Thank YOU for Supporting Extra Credits (and History)!

You all deserve it - congratulations! The subscription approach doesn't work for me, frommy end, because I don't know what to do with an email from YouTube that ;lists a couple dozen channels. But thanks to Patreon, I do get word of your episodes, and I get around to them within a week, generally. Sorry to be so actually lame: I am "on the short bus" for a variety of reasons, all from the neck up.

Because of you, I had the confidence to give a short presentation at my university about the value of video games in education. It was a thrilling and exciting experience, had a lot of interesting conversations and questions from the audience. As for Extra History, I'm so glad you guys made this a regular thing. I've learnt so much that I never really knew and I can't wait to see even more. Now, we go for 10 million and world domination...after a nice cup of tea ;) :)

Then I somehow discovered your channel while researching the Punic Wars. I have been hooked ever since and have seen every single episode. and aside from the newest ones I have seen all over 200 times easily. However, whenever friends get together there is no way I could ever get them to watch something like that. This is a vehicle that I can get even them hooked. Last week when we were having a (youtubeoff?) my friend posted a video from your channel, and now he watches the video game stuff too. Kudos!

But thanks to watching this show for years, I'm able to talk one-on-one with their lead designer, programmer and artist about their game with their own language, and they now come to me for suggestions and the perspective of someone who "understands their industry and field, but is outside of it".
