Solo Leveling Episode 13 Reaction UNCUT + bloopers

Comments

I'm happy to hear you admit the show isn't very deep but you like it anyway. It's a good standpoint. I liked the first season more than the second because the first season had hints of depth to the storyline at least. The things I liked best* about season 1 were absent from season 2 so I lost interest really. I've enjoyed watching a few reaction series to it but haven't been so fond of it as I was of season 1. It's got some good action and the animation is good... but I struggle to find the next good thing to list. You reminded me it's ok to like something just for the fun aspects so I'm thanking you, not trying to trash the show lol. I will enjoy rewatching it with you casually. I'll laugh and get excited and have fun watching it. You just gave me 3 things to add to my list that stalled at the end of the previous paragraph. Thanks for the virtual face-slap. I needed that. *the things I liked best shall remain nameless so as not to spoil anything in season 2 for you

The whole "under-appreciated" anime/novel/movie thing is a bit strange to me. To say people are missing something enjoyable about the show is factually true, but people have different tastes. If I like something that you don't then from my point of view you are missing something, but that never bothers me. What I get from the thing I like, you will probably be getting from something else that you like and I don't so, while you may be "missing something" from my point of view, I never feel you're "missing out" on something. I like to share things that give me pleasure or inspiration but I'm not interested in pushing others to feel the same way about those things and I don't even think they *should*, though it's so nice to find someone to share your passions with... which is one reason I love reaction channels, but it's on those channels that I keep hearing that things are underrated or under-appreciated and I'm not sure I understand the terms. Where is the line that separates "a show that's just not for me" from "a show that's under-appreciated"? Do you know what I mean? Why is one show called "under-appreciated" and another show is just "not popular"? I don't understand the definitions. Is it just a matter of personal relationship to the show? i.e. if you like it you will always call it under-appreciated if it doesn't perform well; if you don't like it you can call it unpopular? I think the only difference between "under-appreciated" and "unpopular" is that the person who says the former really believes others *should* like it more than they do. Is that it? LOL - sorry for the tangent but you brought it up and it's something that confuses me. I'm a bit dim about some things.
