2024-12-13 01:19:04 +0000 UTCI’ve been arguing that DBS made Goku overly stupid for years now, but everyone argues that that’s how he supposed to be 💀 including the voice actor. Yes, the VA even debated with me once. Goku is really dumb whenever he’s a kid, yes, but in DBZ he was never like this. I guess that was because, 1. There were back to back high stakes in Z, not that they’re not super high in Super too but not as much, 2. The dub actors and localization team were inexperienced with dubbing anime and made Goku more of a cartoon superhero than an anime star, that’s why he appeared more Badass than goofy.
