Despite Videl being stronger than her father, that personality of hers would likely bar her from befriending Buu. She'd be turned into an edible rather quickly. Satan is still a master showman with plenty of quirks. And he's got insane amounts of plot armor. One person that is good at standing or sitting and doing nothing is Vegeta. Future Trunks did say he was standing on the cliff edge for 3 days after he got his ass handed to him by 18 XD Isn't the Toei way to end a villain at the last second is for everyone to give their energy to Goku?
