Obviously, they adapted other stories that had great horses. But there was enough drama or tragedy to add that source too. With kitasan, it was difficult. Kitasan black is one of the GOATS. A fan favorite too. I think they did a great job . Telling her study and impact through her cast was a way to show us how great she was without being so obvious with it.

We're so used to the story of the idea of injuries putting a halt to someone's story that having a story where we get to the end and we see that decline due to being past your peak is something I will always appreciate. It's tough seeing someone that you've seen be dominant for so long all of a sudden decline and struggle. Every time I rewatch this season, I fall in love with it more and more.
