There, standing at the lab door, was Catra, flanked on either side by Scorpia and Entrapta. Her mismatched eyes were bright and wild as they stared unblinking back at Adora. She looked like a storm — a tornado moments from touching down. Her hair was wild and pupils constricted to pin pricks that were nearly lost in seas of blue and yellow. The leather jacket she’d taken to wearing was missing, leaving her toned and scarred arms bare. Adora noticed a faint sheen of sweat on Catra’s skin that made it look like she was glowing, and for a split-second, Catra was the most beautiful creature Adora had ever seen.
