Build Release 21.02.2025 Announcement and Changelog

The February build release is almost ready!

Coming out of the Christmas vacations we immediately got to work and these are the areas we want to highlight for you:

The Alpha Camp is coming very close to its final state, the living containers’ interior design has made some great visual improvements and now looks very cozy, most of the models for the Alpha Camp are finished or very close to being finished.

The Warrior Village blockout is making some very good progress, as well. In the build, you can see a snapshot of our efforts to populate the village with all sorts of small props and items to make each house have a purpose and feel lived in.

Unfortunately many of the combat improvements we are working on need more time to get to a presentable state so they aren't part of this release.

This build introduces the Max Riv minigame, Riv is a femboy-type character so if that floats your boat, check it out 🙂

On the sandbox side of things, we have added a powerful new tool, the photo mode, and the accompanying camera post process settings and filters. These can be accessed in story mode, too, and in the sandbox in the level settings menu and placed camera settings. We are really looking forward to what you can get out of this.

And now to the changelog.

Here are the changes coming to the build since the $25 testing version from last week:

Additions:
    • Added 20 new sandbox sex animations, see the full list here
    • Started adding new foliage and stone meshes to grassland region (WIP)
    • Sandbox editor: Added an option to save the auto-keying enabled state across animation props and game sessions
    • Sandbox editor: Added face poses LookBackSmile, LookBackSmile2, QTFace, and SeductiveSmile for Shey based characters
    • Lua: Added penetration_depth to result table of wl_spherecast function


Improvements:
    • Resolved wrong sounds playing for projectile impacts
    • Improved skin capture VRAM utilization
    • Improved open world grass
    • Resolved broken detail masks for rock and cliff materials in caves
    • Resolved Riv office dress not affecting his penis pose
    • Added feet details for some Max characters
    • Movement inputs now stop routine destination interaction
    • Sandbox editor: Resolved not being able to set lipstick texture 0 for Alissa, Mercer, and Leah
    • Sandbox editor: Resolved nails not being customizable for Flint, Sheema, Kyo, Andorin, and Yanu
    • Sandbox editor: Resolved Gamma and Saturation not behaving correctly when used in the global settings and camera props
    • Sandbox editor: Resolved character variation not working for Max X Shey ArmpitSex
    • Various improvements to characters
    • Various improvements to animations
    • Various improvements to levels

Known Issues:
    • Nav mesh generation is very slow for performance reasons, so NPCs can get stuck in the middle of their path, but will continue once the nav mesh is generated
    • Setting animation speed and amplitude to zero causes sex toys to disappear
    • Clothes textures will not fully load in the character creator
    • Physics break if you scale characters in the sandbox editor
    • Rendering issue on moving characters - most noticeable on hair and clothing

    • Added new outfit: Casual Streetwear for some Max, Kral, and Sethro based characters
    • Added new outfit: Full Knight for some Sethro based characters
    • Added new outfit: Cocktail Dress and Strap On for Tanya
    • Added new outfit: Torn Clothes for Koodie
    • Added Photo Mode (accessible via pause menu)
    • Sandbox editor: Added new eye shadow customization for most characters
    • Sandbox editor: Added new eye iris texture customization for all characters
    • Sandbox editor: Added new props: Shield and Axe, Global Camera Manager
    • Sandbox editor: Added camera post processing settings with filters in various places: In the level settings to change them globally, in each individual camera prop to override specific settings, and in photo mode
    • Sandbox editor: Added a decal material creation button to the material editor
    • Sandbox editor: Added new events to trigger zone prop that provide the overlapped character's GUID as the parameter
    • Sandbox editor: Added new Lua functions: wl_get_camera_position, wl_get_camera_rotation, wl_get_camera_direction, wl_world_to_screen_position, wl_combine_rotations, wl_spherecast

Improvements:
    • Dodging while locked onto an enemy is now omnidirectional
    • Selecting an empty quick item slot will be ignored now and remain on the last valid selected slot
    • Riv now uses Jenny's sound effects
    • Resolved cumshot sometimes not working
    • Implemented final architecture meshes in Alpha Camp (missing decals for further details)
    • Updated Adûn Plaza, Main Tower, floor tiles, 20m gate, and added transitions from architecture to cliff walls
    • Updated Warrior Village arena blockout, Warrior Graveyard, completed quarry blockout, and added new and updated meshes for architecture and props in interior and exterior areas
    • Updated hair styles: 2, 10, and 13 for Maya
    • Updated hair styles: 3 and 13 for Shey
    • Updated hair styles: 3, 4, and 6 for Max
    • Updated hair styles: 2, 3, and 4 for Sethro
    • Sandbox editor: Image decal prop now supports custom materials
    • Sandbox editor: Resolved crash when saving a UI prop collection with the root object disabled
    • Sandbox editor: Resolved when exiting edit mode after undoing an additive load of a scene
    • Sandbox editor: Resolved cumshot props and characters not clearing their spawned decals when the Clear Cum event is triggered
    • Sandbox editor: Saving character creator presets takes the name of the sandbox object by default now instead of "My preset"
    • Sandbox editor: Lua: Resolved Lua raycasts hitting character objects reporting the sandbox object being nil
    • Sandbox editor: Lua: wl_set_object_visibility has received a new parameter to work recursively
    • Various improvements to dialogues
    • Various improvements to quests
    • Various improvements to characters
    • Various improvements to animations
    • Various improvements to levels

I recently had a bug reported where the assignment of the cameras in a sandboxscene to the individual sexpositions was not saved when exporting. Is there any feedback on this? I have not found it here. Thank you guys for your work!
