interesting approach but probably too much work to rig new animations for several levels, rendering older animations and the work that went into them obsolete. It's not always a necessity, but I also like it when such details are researched and survive a reality check. Then again, who says the guy is actually a knife combat expert.

Its something in that neighbourhood yes. But even if it wasnt a patreon rule, we would be very mindful about content like this and more often than not decide against it in favour of keeping our project safe and away from those darker and more controversial topics which arent as well recieved among the mainstream.

Naturally there would be an enemy involved in the game, I’m not saying there needs to be less sex, but it’s good to have a degree of combat action, if it is a rule of patreon I guess it’s to not promote rape or something borderline with it

Are you meaning that it's a Patreon rule? I've heard of them having issues with Feral characters, but this character looks relatively anthropomorphic, regardless. If it is still a Patreon limitation, I know of some creators that moved to Subscribestar for that reason. Sounds like it would be a bit of a headache, however. :-p

Just make sure your Feral Lion don't look to much like Guild Wars 2 Charr. Because of Arena Net Copyrights. But you should be ok because he does have 2 ears instead of 4, a furry back and no fur on tail.. So you should be good to go. Just double check just in case. I like it a lot. He looks cool.

I guess not every part of this game needs to be sexual, you're giving up a bit of erotica by not making the Feral Lion sexable, but you're trading it for a bit more combat action.

The life-like characters you've created are amazing. I started gaming back when there were floppy disks in heavy boxy computers, so going from grainy 2D graphics to these realistic animals and other creatures that navigate terrain and fight is really breakthrough and inspiring. As for the suggestion about how to improve knife-fighting sequences, I'm fine with some characters being novices at that; not everyone has formal training in how to deflect melee attacks.

This was just a demo quest, the real story and quests are being worked on but before we are upgrading the quest system and releasing a new demo quest chain.

Would be interesting if this was apart of a progression path for his skills. Lame knife fighting skills at first but then gets badass knife fighting techniques as he levels up.

That Knife swinging makes him look pathetic as he lunges forward and swings up exposing his vital area's under his arm. I know it's a porn game but if you want it be more than that got to get serious at making the combat visually interesting instead of being like any other generic hack and slash game. Take some inspiration from real life knife fighting. He should carry the blade pointing out from him so the opponent has to try to pass the blade to attack him. When he's forced to attack he should be trying to avoid taking damage by stepping around and away. His other hand should be positioned in the way of his vital area's like his neck and ready to push away from his opponents attacks. He's holding it behind his arm and down away from being in a ready position to defend himself. It's like he's trying to conceal he has a big knife to not alert someone who's looking at him. He doesn't need to do that when they're already going to attack him.

Just wondering though, suppose there were absolutely no rules you had to go by and here's my question. On a scale of one to ten, how crazy could you get being able to do whatever you wanted to do with no limitations other than what your capabilities might be?

Even if we wanted to do ferals, there is rules on patreon that dont allow it, thats the main thing to consider here. Our design decision has reasons beyond that too and those wont be reconsidered. But im sure modding is going to be a thing once the game is finished.

Please reconsider your design decision. I prefer the theme of these feral designs over the non-feral ones. If you do not do it yourself, at least allow for modding support so someone else can...

Yeah I feel like it would be a great idea and a huge loss to not give the wildlife sexual interactions. Say if you're at low health (or a certain %) they leap at you and force you into a sex scene (yet not every time & also making them skippable). I feel like that would be a system a lot of people would enjoy as it would give more variety to combat especially in an open-world environment discovering that enemy(s) for the first time. Just a thought, I know that would take time and resources.

Once we have a complete list yeah. So far we have made 36 new animations but I want to have more. Id love to hit at least 50. But we will see, if we get to 45 in this week that should be good too.
