Wild Life Test Build Announcement 13.09.2019
Added 2019-09-13 14:14:32 +0000 UTCHello everyone, it's that time again, the new testing build is ready. (Currently uploading and will be posted to the member tier+ patrons soon)*
An important notice in advance: the build performance is greatly impacted and you should expect some frame rate losses in the kerpali city. You may require quite a beefy computer to run it smoothly.
We need your help here - It would be nice, if you could go to a specific location within the kerpali village and look in the same direction in the old and new build and take screenshots with the FPS display enabled and tell us your PC hardware specifications. From there we hope to get a better understanding of the issue.
Without further ado, the changelist:
Additions:
-New sex animations, click here to see the list of all animations
-First implementation of a quest line with several parts
-Added a few generic tribal characters and kerpali variations
-More combat related features
-New environment effects
-Blocking/Parrying added to combat
-Alpha Hyena (Relevant for quest line)
-Idle characters in the world
-New sounds
-Hyena kill counter (visible when you die)
-New tribal characters (available in the spawn menu)
-Loot containers
-Lipsync for spoken lines
-"Region entered" notifications
-Boss healthbar
-This "What's new?" Screen
Improvements:
-Big redesign of the Kerpali village along with improvements to models and textures
-Dialogue system overhaul
-HUD overhaul
-Combat improvements
-Water reflects sky correctly now
-Climbing improved
-AI improved
-Combat VFX improved
Known issues:
-We currently have a serious performance problem in this build
-Frame stutter when you first load up the map due to streaming issues
-Tribal males lacking clothed pose for their genitals
-Dialogue camera sometimes not aligned with the character
-Faces and poses sometimes don't work correctly in dialogue
-Sometimes characters don't face each other during dialogue
-Sometimes characters fail to get to their destination
-Sometimes characters have a slight height offset during sex
-Tribal males hair doesn't look as intended
*The Idea is that the 25$ builds are released some time in advance to our Member tier supporters to play earlier. They then give us feedback about improvements they want, additions, bugs, and balances which we work into the game as we can.
This time, the release of the following tiers is going to be delayed, because we plan to improve the performance as much as possible before we release the other versions.

2019-09-21 00:11:22 +0000 UTCThe parry never works for me so combat is nearly impossible with the 2 hit kill from the tiger and the enemies attacking around corners. Also Kral gets stuck 100% of the time and loops the hunting ground mission when you talk to him instead of the chief.

2019-09-15 12:28:16 +0000 UTCIn my humble opinion, you're moving in the wrong direction. You have too small team to do what you have in mind, really successful: a huge world, quest chains, fights. And why not do what you do best first? I believe that the right solution would be to make just a simulator with mods support, from this you will collect a much larger amount of money, and then you will be able to do with a larger team of some planned RPG. Just do a small survey among paid subscribers to make them more expected from wild life, I'm sure you'll be surprised. Only my opinion ofcourse

I support and enjoy the use of Yiff/Furry Characters (They're great!). but I also understand that there is quite a large community of those who don't support the use of any content that would fall under "Yiff", "Furry" or any kinda of "Anthropomorphic Animal" character in general. As an alternative maybe you can have two game modes. When starting a new game have an option that Allows "Human Only" or "Anthropomorphic & Humans". Then just swap some characters around. Example(Human Only): "Chakkar" Replaced by "Yason", "Minotaur" Replaced by "Bol", "Zuri" Replaced by "Tanya". I'm not sure how quests are being implemented so this idea may not work, but it's just a thought.

And when I found out about a group of guys that is working on such a game I was excited. And then it happened. Ultimate disappointment. Seriously? lions, leopards, cheetahs, goats, bulls? And I would be ok with that if they were just foes you had to fight but have sex with them? I'm sorry guys but that is not sexy, it's disturbing. I really hope it's not too late and that I'm not the only one who thinks that, so you guys can fix that in the future. We really need a video game where sex is not censored but not like this.

I am having no issues with performance in the village myself, my frame rates are typically in the 100 fps range moving about the village. My rig is exceptionally powerful though: - I9 9900K - RTX 2080TI - 32GB 3600 RAM I do, however, have a huge problem with click targets inside the game. I cannot directly click on any menu items to select. I have to click around to find them and they are usually offset to the right and up a bit. That means I can't select a lot of items in narrow menus like the sex drop down.

2019-09-13 20:29:03 +0000 UTCUh I keep getting a "Fatal Error" Message and the game freezes after a couple of minutes I'm playing , have to press OK and I'm back on the Desktop. - I7 4770 - GTX 1070 - 16GB 1600 RAM Maybe this helps , I dunno :/ Edit: Seems it happens almost instantly when I try to customize any character.

2019-09-13 19:37:20 +0000 UTCi know that what i'll suggest isn't a priority right now but with the anti-aliasing setting is it possible to replace "low, medium, high and ultra" with the AA technique that is used ? Having a resolution scale slider that could go up to 200% or something like that. And the last thing is more a question since i don't know if that is already planned. When in First Person the Character Head seems to render with your body. Is it possible to not render the head when in first person ? So i don't get to see my nose or my teeth inside my mouth since it seems a bit weird.
