MURDERBOT HELMET ready for download :)

It is DONE !!!!

I’m happy to report that the way i wanted to design the helmet in pieces is now completed and ready for printing :)

now this might be a bit tricky to print to some of you , but thats why we have the awesome FB gruop for tips/tricks and supports, and i also added the 3mf's with orientation and support info to help you :)

So , Here’s what you’ll find in this project

Two build options:
1 - Split by material – great if you want to print parts in different materials or colors, or make painting easier.

2- Combined large parts – for those who dont like to mess with many parts

Visor options:

Build-friendly features:

Thanks again for your support and patience on this one guys — can’t wait to see your builds!

I’m vac forming and tinting visors at 100% and 108% size if anyone wants to buy them (if that’s ok with Marko)?

i have now added everything you asked for :) the fully merged but can be split into parts option is being uploaded this very moment - it is in the stl folder - it was created before but it has 163 MB due to all the details and people usually experience their slicers/softwares crashing when "splitting" the parts - and "non manifold" errors can apear even tho they are not there- so just be aware of that - but since it was requested it is now added :) the part called "plate" is in all images and assembly videos - it is the top of the head - the wider strip - some people experienced a thin wall issue with this bit, so i added another one, thicker as a second option if you would to use a larger nozzle for whatever reason and experience the thin wall issue as well , so any problem that might arrive has been fixed upfront - that one does exist in all photos and you can see me in the video assamble it to the top of the helmet at 0,32 sec :) the link to the image you provided is corrupt, it can't be opened, so i can't see it :/

A couple bits of feedback for the Murderbot helmet files. I think they're terrific but... • Would be nice if there was a multi-part STL where the helmet is fully assembled so it can be brought in to scaling software such as Armorsmith as a single part, scaled and exported keeping everything relative. I did my own re-assembly for this purpose but its a nice customer service feature to supply it like that. HINT: Your "Big parts combined" STLs would have been perfect for this if the parts were 'grouped' instead of merged into a single body. • You have a part simply called "plate.stl" that doesn't appear in any of your images or assembly video. Moving things around in CAD it looks like it covers one of the existing plates at the back of the head: There seems to be matching dimples. But you should updated your assembly photos and videos. https://imgur.com/gallery/start-of-murderbot-cosplay-scaling-progress-bVXxrS1

Note sure about this line: "And for small printer users: a 2-part split of the biggest piece, so everyone’s covered!" It does not fit on a Prusa Mk4 which is one of the most popular size of printers.

just added it :)

Is there a mesh visor? If not could we please get one?
