The balloon began to fall, engulfed in flames. Finally, it ignited the burner’s fuel, causing an even more intense explosion. The recoil caused the rope that had been tied to Mai's feet, which was secured to the gondola frame, to come loose, and in the next moment, Mai was thrown into the air. The hot air balloon was being carried away by the wind, but the naked Mai had no air resistance and could only fall straight down.

The male host shouted, "Oh no! This is terrible! The rope connecting Mai and the balloon has come undone! She’s falling straight down towards the ground! Could it be that she will crash into the ground like this? Or will she manage to pull off a miraculous escape at the last moment, just like in the water tank magic trick? But is it really possible for her to survive in this situation?"

Mai was completely bound and unable to move. All she could do was scream as loudly as she could with her mouth stuffed with a ball gag while she fell. Spinning in the air and gaining speed, she broke through the clouds and saw the vast ground spread out below her. From this height, there was no chance of survival, no matter how lucky she might be.

Staring at the ground, Mai shouted, "Kyaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Supermen, Ultramen, pigeons, chickens, pigs—anything will do at this point! Someone—anyone—please help me!"

バルーンは炎に包まれながら落下し始めた。

そして遂にバーナーの燃料に引火し更に激しい爆発を起した。

その反動でゴンドラ部分のフレーム部分に固定してあった舞の足に結んでいたロープが外れてしまい次の瞬間舞は空中へと放り投げだされてしまった。

気球は風の抵抗を受けて流されていたが、素っ裸の舞は何の空気の抵抗も無く真っ逆さまに落ちるしか無かった。

司会者の男が叫んだ

「あーっとーーーー大変です。舞さんと気球とを繋いでいたロープが外れてしまったよです。地面に向かって真っ逆さまに落ちて行きます!

まさか、このまま地面に激突してしまうのか。或いは水槽マジックの時のように最後の最後に見事脱出マジックに成功するのか！

しかしこの状態から生還など本当に出来るのでしょうか？」

舞は全身を縛られたまま身動き一つ出来ない状態のままだった。

彼女が出来る事といえばボールギャグで塞がれた口で思いっきり悲鳴を上げながら落下してゆく事だけだった。

空中でクルクル回転し加速度を上げながら雲の間を抜けると眼下に広がる広大な地面が見えてきた。

この高さから落下したら彼女がどんな強運の持ち主でも助かる見込みは万が一にも無い。

舞は地面を凝視しながら叫んだ

「キャアアアアアアアアアア！！！！！！！

スーパーマンでもウルトラマンでも鳩でもニワトリでも豚でもこの際何だっていいから、とにかく誰かーーーーー誰か助けてーーーーーーーーーーーー！！！」
