The host got into the helicopter and approached the balloon with Mai suspended from it.

"Alright, the balloon is steadily ascending and will soon reach ten minutes. The altitude is also increasing, and we've reached a height where the clouds are visible below.

Meanwhile, Mai was completely unable to move, trapped in real handcuffs.

司会者の男はヘリコプターに乗り込むと舞をぶら下げた気球に接近した。

「さあ、気球はどんどん上昇を始めて間もなく10分になろうとしております。高度も更に上がり雲が眼下に見える高さにまで上昇しました。

早く爆破解除キーを押さなくては彼女はこの高さからから真っ逆さまに落ちるのです。」

一方舞の方はというと本当の手錠に身動きできずにいた。

「フンギャーーーーー（マジで身動きとれないじゃないのよ。どうしたら良いのよ。ーーーーー）

司会者の男はいつまでも気球の下にぶら下ったままの舞を見ながら

「手錠の解除に手間取っているのでしょうか？ぶら下がったままですね。

先程高い所が好きだとおっしゃっていましたが、そこまで好きだったとは。しかしもう余り時間が有りませんよ。余裕かましていて本当に大丈夫でしょうか！！」

司会者の男は前回の水槽脱出の時と同じように今回も時間ギリギリの所でタイマーのスイッチを切るつもりなのだろうと思っていた。

だが流石に感の鈍い彼にも彼女の様子は変である。

ヘリを彼女の近くまで接近させてはみたがこれ以上接近させるのは接触の恐れがあり不可能だった。

「やばいです。そろそろ爆弾が爆発する時間です。爆風に巻き込まれたら私の乗ったヘリコプターも爆風で墜落しちまうかもしれません。舞さん。幸運を祈ります。」

男は舞に向かって片手で会釈すると、ヘリの向きを反転させて舞を残しその場から離脱した。
