Shae Vizsla blaster

Introducing the Shae Vizla blaster rifle :)

While we wait on patroen to process pledges i've added the first project of the month ( link at the end of this post)

This model was inspired by the concept art of Shae Vizla. Originally this was a request by cosplayer named Valerie who is a member of this group and allready has other parts sorted, but i knew many people would love to get their hands on that blaster as well, bcs, well, you told me so :D

So, rather than charging her for a commission, I saw this as an opportunity to create something for the entire mysterymakers 3D printing community to enjoy.

One of the key features of this model is the scope, which is made in 2 parts that interlock into one another for added stability and easier assembly.   The lenses are designed to be printed in clear resin or used as a cutting template for any transparent material, such as a bottle, ensuring a realistic and authentic look. The lenses are also designed to be  easy to insert or remove, with a simple insertion point at the front and back.

Another cool feature of this model is the functional trigger, which uses our standard spring to ensure a smooth and responsive trigger pull.   Assembly is made even easier with the use of 8x8 pins, making the model highly customizable and adaptable to any 3D printed bed size.

A small-scale version of the model is also included, making it accessible to a wider range of 3D printing enthusiasts ( im looking at you miniature and keychain makers :) )    With supportless printing in mind and a focus on easy assembly, this 3D model is a must-have for any Star Wars or sci-fi fans looking to add a touch of intergalactic flair to their collection.

So why wait? Start printing and bring this iconic blaster to life today, and show us some photos :)

had a closer look at the smaller version and scaled it to match dark fire weapons, so will have a play with some trooper miniatures to see what works best
