JEDI TEMPLE GUARD

!!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU ARE SEEING THIS YOUR PLEDGE HAS BEEN PROCESSED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jedi temple guard :)

It's done, you can print out your own now , let me walk you through it.

There are 3 versions ( well 4 actually) for you to choose from. Details are the same, only differences are the proportions.

Option 1 is more elongated /higher, while option 2 is a bit more shorter. If you have a longer, more narrow face you wanna use option 1, buuut i'll let you decide which works best for you.
As an example - I printed mine Option 2 at 100% scale and it's a perfect fit for my head shape.

Quick note - when putting it on, insert one ear at a time :D haha - once it's one there is plenty of room inside for the ears, but it's a tiny bit narrow when putting it on. I myself didn't have any issues with it, and most of you shouldn't either. I just added it here just in case :)

Both options have a clean and textured version. Textured version is sort of a corrosion type texture in my attempt to get over the corrosion seen as in the Andor photos.

If you wish to just paint it that way, use the clean version - once again, your call :)

The "third" option would be all that I just mentioned - I just added the "strap cutouts" on the ear if you wish to add a strap.

and the 4th option is - EXPERIMENTAL:

I figured it would be just a matter of time when someone asked for the gold details to be seperated. Now, in my opinion separating the gold details is not the best way to do this as they would be very thin, and printed even in resin, while curing those thin parts will bend. I personally would always print it all combined and mask it in post for painting.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuut let's use this to learn from this - the details are seperated. I called it "experimental" bcs it will be a difficult print for advanced users, and those who want a bit of a challenge - that one is for you - let me know how it goes :)

I printed mine in PLA, on bambulab x1 carbon at 0.2 mm layer height with tree supports, tiled backwards slightly, it took almost 13 hours to print and used 361,8g of filament. I didn't go super fast with the speed, it's a bambulance standard setting. The supports were a bit too strong attached to the print, so that's something I need to adjust, other than that, the print was perfect.
X1 carbon did mess up the tree support on the back, but then saved it quite a few layers later, so I'm very happy with how it handled it. The reason for that was the tree support was too high with just 1 layer so i need to tweak that setting as well, so it's not the machines fault, its mine. Cool thing is once it started to mess up I got a spaghetti warning in the app. Very cool :D

That's it, let me see your Jedi Temple guard masks, happy printing :)
