Recently I've been working on a new battle system with the actual movement of player on map so far I've added
8 directional movement
3 steps melee
Jump
Dash
Shadow
A combo window ( Players would be able to see the current combo sequence)
And spritesheet for all these actions(Placeholders kinda for testing)
Why is this battle system required? Since there will be smaller enemies for all enemies player won't have to fight in the 2D fighter system, only main bosses will have that... Also it'll add an exploration point of view in the game.
Next I'll work on adding fireball and enemies and collectible items on the map.
