You probably know Mega Man 2 is one of my personal favorite games but I've never actually made a video about it. And that was because it's hard to think of something new about a game as popular and respected as Mega Man 2. But I found an angle - the ending!
This is one of the shorter videos we've made in a while but it was one of the tougher scripts we've had to write. I'm really happy with how it came out, it covers just about everything I wanted to say about the final minutes of Mega Man 2. So enjoy!
This video will be exclusive to Patreon until next week. This version of the video is also add free! Not only that, we ended the video with a couple fun out takes that wont appear on the public YouTube version. So no ads and bonus goofs with Grace and Derek!

I’m biased towards MM3 because it’s my favorite MM game and I think it has a perfect approach to “story,” but MM2 has a beautiful simplicity to it, especially in the ending. It doesn’t need words and pulls off everything with imagery. Definitely the sign of a passion project. Great video!

(Tho personally, MM4 is one of my least favorite) But MM2 was such a trailblazer, its accomplishments far outweigh its short comings. It moved the bar incredibly high for enemy and level design, music, weapons, and story in video games. Very few games from ‘88 are as richly designed and play as well as MM2.
