New Video! Street Fighter Game Boy Ports PW

Welcome to the thorny world of Street Fighter ports! When Derek and I were writing this script, we got into more than one yelling match just trying to wrap our heads around all the different versions of Street Fighter. Overall this was a pretty fun video to make because fighting games have such a rich history and culture.
All of this footage was captured by Derek as I am terrrrrrible with at fighting games. >.<
FYI, this was also sponsored by Dollar Shave Club, but this version is ad free. We're still trying to figure out the best way to handle sponsorships, but we've decided that Patrons should get an ad free version. So, there will be a different version up on YouTube later this week!
EDIT: We also added some new graphics to the video that we plan on using going forward in our videos. We finally made a background for game footage, a gfx for our social media info (the people need to know!), and a new system/gfx for game titles (we used to just use game boxes). It's all fairly new, so any feedback is appreciated!

Also, that picture of the team looks like a 90s album cover... I can't remember exactly which one it reminds me of most, but it is super rad. RIP Crawfish. D:

2018-07-30 20:47:08 +0000 UTCThanks! Glad you liked the video! The music in Revival is exceptionally bad! But it's a classic soundtrack so it could be worse (like Wolf 3D GBA). We'll probably get some blowback on the Primal Rage comment but I thought it was funny! Arguing about which bad port is better is my kinda dumb thing to argue about!

Even if I have good memories playing SF2 GB and considering it a strange beast, discovering GBC Alpha some years ago was mesmerizing: it was such a huge step up in quality, it really was, especially of a little machine like the GBC! About Revival, though: I always thought that the music was incredibly bad. The GBA sound chip is not good at all, in my personal, really humble opinion, and some rendition of that legendary soundtrack were painful to listen, for me! Again, great work! :D P.S.: I kinda disagree on that Primal Rage comparison but, hey, it's taste!
