And finally, here's the sequel to our Doom Ports Punching Weight from 2 years ago! Hope you guys enjoy, there is just SO MUCH we can dig into with Doom Ports. I even got a Ti84 calculator just so I could play Doom on it... maybe that'll be a video in the future??
We actually wrote this video after Derek had to delay a Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon script. That one will probably come out next month!
FYI we're probably going to add a short bumper to this video before release to let people know we have pins on Fangamer. We're still waiting on our samples so that we can actually shoot it.

2018-07-02 22:40:32 +0000 UTCThe reason why so many ports of Doom use the Jaguar Doom assets was because they were the assets provided for the console ports (at least according to Rebecca "Burger" Heineman, who did the 3do port) and were already redesigned for the low memory (RAM, not storage space) environment that consoles of the time represented. Even though the 32X version of Doom released first, the Jaguar version started development first.

No, I didn’t enjoy *playing* these ports, but playing them to better understand the larger story behind them was fun. It goes along with the idea that there’s no good or bad media, just interesting and uninteresting. 3DO Doom is maybe not fun to play but it’s still an interesting game, same for Saturn Doom.

I could finish it, but I'd need to know if the bumper goes on at the end or the beginning, because if it goes at the beginning, I'll have to redo the timing completely..:Which is my fault, I didn't check the full message,!
