Just a heartfelt Thank You to our supporters

We say it in every video but it may sound like a rehearsed line at this point but I want to make it clear we really appreciate the support of every last one of you.
I'm sure you've seen the recent wave of content ID claims rampaging its way through youtube. I've been sort of lucky in that regard. I've had videos flagged and denied monetization but never had to deal with the threat of having my videos or channel deleted. It's maybe just pure luck, maybe it's because I've always been small time, or maybe it's because not many copyright holders really care who's making videos about Ninja Warriors or Journey to Silius.
But even when I've had videos blocked in certain countries and/or denied monetization, I didn't sweat it because I've never made much money from youtube anyway. Don't get me wrong, a couple of extra bucks a month is certainly nice but depending on youtube has never been an option. I've always had to look to other avenues for revenue be it music and merch, DVDs, other websites (RIP http://blip.tv), and my short stint as an audio/video contractor. Right now, Patreon is the outside avenue.
So when people say "every little bit helps" or "one person makes a difference" that absolutely applies here. This patreon is not only how SSFF can sustain itself, it's our backup plan! If we get hit with something big and we're denied monitization across the board or are shut down, which again hasn't happened yet but is maybe bound to happen one day, we'll be able to weather the storm. And that's because of the generosity and trust each of you put into Grace and I.
So with the utmost sincerity, we thank you. We really couldn't do this without you! And now, back to work! See y'all again real soon!

mine too, but we've got a couple of timed videos coming for the next few months, so no nes on the horizon but there's still plenty of calendar space left
