Why are there so many contradictions with King Neptune in Spongebob Squarepants? There's 2 different King Neptunes, a king poseidon, 3 different royal palaces, 2 of them are called the city of Atlantis but there's also an unrelated lost city of Atlantis run by aliens?
Trust me, there is a way to explain all of this within the same continuity. This is a story of power, deception, and betrayal. This is the Neptune Theory.

It’s certainly an interesting idea that is constantly reinforced by the show. A dead whale is a significant event in the ocean, entire ecosystems can be built around a single whale carcass. I think bikini bottom’s ecosystem is completely dependent on the krabby patty and society would collapse without it
