Unnatural Laws is being translated into German!

On the one hand, I feel like I have a good head for strategy and numbers, and I'm always evaluating what efforts are worth my time, what I should prioritise, how much effort I should put into editing and marketing as opposed to writing, and all that.
And on the other hand, sometimes I just randomly latch onto an idea and jump into it. Like this webnovel, which started out as an idea to create a reader magnet for what was going to be my 'real' book series, which has now been all but abandoned. ^^'
Or like last Wednesday, when I randomly started to wonder if it would be worthwhile to get my book translated into other languages, after which a little research proved that there was a potential market for German. Then I found a translator who's done some LitRPG books, and all of a sudden, yesterday, I'm writing up and signing a contract with him and... now it's happening. :p
I also considered Chinese for a hot second, then realised how much would need to be censored for this series to be accepted there. And I figured: You know what? Fuck that.
Anyway, my translator will still be busy for a couple of weeks, and after he's finished I'm still going to have his work proofread and will need to turn it into an e-book and all that, so it'll be a while, but the ball is rolling. ^^
